Eve Naomi vs Eva Naomi

Big brother is [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], last name is [name_m]Ford[/name_m].
We have decided on either [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] for our daughter, with the middle name [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. We are having trouble choosing between the two! I like [name_f]Eva[/name_f] because it is longer and flows better with the middle and last names, however I like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] because there is no chance of pronunciation issues like there is with [name_f]Eva[/name_f], which we want to avoid (I have heard it pronounced ee-va, ay-va, eh-va etc. We will pronounce it ee-va.)
What do you think sounds better and is pronunciation a major issue with [name_f]Eva[/name_f]? I live in Australia if that matters. Thanks!

I think [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] flows much better. [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] almost sounds like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f].

I prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f] sounds sophisticated while [name_f]Eva[/name_f] just sounds annoying.

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] flows off the tongue better. If you do not plan to call her by her first and middle name that wouldn’t matter as much. I think they both go well with [name_m]David[/name_m]. Does one just really speak to you? Would you regret not using one over the other? They are both beautiful.

I love them both, but my vote goes to [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f].

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] sounds much better to me & is very pretty. I don’t think there would be pronunciation issues.

I love [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. It’s on my short list, too, but in this case I think I would go with [name_f]Eva[/name_f] because [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] kinda runs together. I don’t think you’d have pronunciation problems. You can’t really go wrong either way, tho

With your last name it would really have to be [name_f]Eva[/name_f] I think. [name_f]Eve[/name_f] just does not go at all with [name_m]Ford[/name_m].

Both sound fine with [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], and I don’t really think there would be pronunciation issues with [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. You could always use [name_f]Eve[/name_f] for short.

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] is much better. The flow from the first to last name is more important than for the first to middle.

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] flows much better imo

I prefer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] (ee-va) [name_m]Ford[/name_m] to [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m].

Thanks everyone. Although I love [name_f]Eve[/name_f] I agree that [name_f]Eve[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] is a little short and jarring so I am leaning towards [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. If you don’t think [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] goes with [name_f]Eva[/name_f] as a middle name, what would you suggest? I would like a biblical name. Another idea might be [name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]?

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]! I’m just biased, because I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Eva[/name_f]. I say it as you would like it said–honestly, I’m not sure I’ve met another [name_f]Eva[/name_f] who says it like EH-vah or AY-vah–it’s almost always EE-vah. I think [name_m]David[/name_m] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f] are super cute together.
