Eve, Rowena, Evangeline?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!
So I’ve been considering [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Rowena[/name_f], and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] lately. All of them are based on my favorite nickname, [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I like how simple [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is, but am worried that maybe it’s a little bit too short. I like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]’s soft sound, and how it reminds me of a little princess. But the problem with this one is that you can’t say it fast, or else it will sounds either very blurry or like [name_f]REE[/name_f]-na. Also, I want it to be one-of-a-kind, so the -A ending kind of annoys me. I also love [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] for its classicalness and how it reminds me of a beautiful and elegant woman. But I am a bit worried that maybe it’s too classical?
So, what do you think? And please tell me your reasons.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

[name_f]Evie[/name_f] is sweet. I adore the simplicity of [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. It’s elegant, feminine, but not over frilly. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is a little over the top for me. I think [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is kind of pretty & different. I like the nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] for it!

You could also do [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or the Gaelic [name_f]Eibhlin[/name_f] for the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f].

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I like all three names although I wouldn’t have thought of [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] as a longer name for [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I’d probably do [name_f]Ro[/name_f] or [name_f]Ena[/name_f] for [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]. I agree with the above, you could also use [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] or [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or maybe even [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] to get to [name_f]Evie[/name_f] too. Best wishes!

I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] the most! I know a little girl with this name and most people call her [name_u]Evan[/name_u].

[name_u]Love[/name_u] the nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! So cute.

I like [name_f]Eve[/name_f] the most as a full name, second [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]. Nothing’s wrong with a short full name in my opinion! It will age well and is very classic without being over the top or too princess-y.

I like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] and [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]

I like [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] the most. I think it’s very beautiful and feminine, and it’s not too common/popular. I’m not really sure what you mean by too classical.

[name_f]Eve[/name_f] is also nice though I do prefer the longer [name_f]Eva[/name_f] myself. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a very sweet nickname.

I prefer the sound of Rowenna to [name_f]Rowena[/name_f].

I know a girl named [name_f]Eve[/name_f]. It definitely works as a full name. [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is really pretty, too.

[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] is too princess-like and dainty for my taste, however; it’s a great way to get nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. If that is your only concern, I say keep considering it.

[name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Eve[/name_f] is nice, but I do wonder if such a short name needs a nickname. Consider [name_f]Eva[/name_f] and perhaps [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u].

[name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is also a lovely name, but if the -a ending makes it all jumbled together, try [name_u]Rowen[/name_u] or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].
