Hello, lovely berries! (:
What are some names that could give me the nickname [name]Eve[/name]? I really really like [name]Evangeline[/name], but I dont “love” it. I also kinda like [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name], but I dont love any of these names. However, I do love [name]Eve[/name]. Are there any other names that could give me the nickname [name]Eve[/name]?? [name]TIA[/name]
[name]Evanthe[/name] is my favourite.
Why not just use [name]Eve[/name]?
I agree that just [name]Eve[/name] could work. Lately I’m very partial to [name]Eva[/name]. [name]Evanthe[/name] was the other idea I had; if you don’t mind going a bit trendy, I think [name]Ever[/name]/Everleigh is kind of cute. I usually despise the -leigh endings, but for some reason with Everleigh I find it so much more appealing than [name]Everley[/name]/[name]Everly[/name]/etc. (which obviously would work, as well).
Good luck!
[name]Eve[/name] to me seems incomplete somehow even though I know it works as a stand alone name. [name]Evanthe[/name] is a little odd, but cute. Everleigh is too tendy for my taste. Im starting to really like [name]Eva[/name] also. Thanks for the help guys. (:
Well a gp of mine is [name]Evening[/name], which I think is bit out there for a child, but thought I’d mention it.
Other options:
[name]Evonne[/name]
[name]Evadne[/name]
[name]Evelia[/name]
[name]Evony[/name]
[name]Eva[/name]
Evalyse
[name]Evette[/name]
Evera
[name]Evelina[/name]
Evonnia
Ahh, just thought of another one. I don’t know if it’ll appeal to you, or even if it’s a real name, but there is a girl on my sister’s hall at her boarding school whose name is Eveling. [name]EVE[/name]-ling. Most people just call her [name]Evelyn[/name], but correctly it is pronounced Eveling. Like a mix of [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Evening[/name], imo. I really love it, and [name]Eve[/name] would obviously work as a nn.
[name]Just[/name] thought of this, as well–I think Ivelisse would work, too. It’s pretty rare outside Hispanic circles, I believe, but there’s also an Ivelisse at my sister’s school (most of them have weird uncommon names, haha), she goes by [name]Ivy[/name] (pronounced [name]Evie[/name])–it’s pronounced like [name]Eva[/name]-[name]Lise[/name]. I think it’s quite pretty, although would probably be mispronounced in English speaking circles. If you really loved it, though, it might be worth fighting for. Or you could go for a spelling like Eveliese, which is just as pretty, sort of smooshes [name]Evelyn[/name] and [name]Anneliese[/name]…
