I’m just wondering what opinions on the name [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] are? My husband and I are expecting a little girl in [name_u]December[/name_u], and just started considering that name.
We would probably use my grandmother’s name as a middle name, so she’d be [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] ([name_m]Clark[/name_m]).
We already have a little boy, [name_m]Erik[/name_m] [name_m]Philip[/name_m]. We aren’t trying to go for two ‘E’ names purposely, but do you think [name_m]Erik[/name_m] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] sound good together?
I’m thinking we’d probably end up calling her [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or [name_f]Eve[/name_f] most of the time…
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is absolutely stunning! I love it paired with [name_f]Vera[/name_f]. Beautiful combo! I like it with your son’s name, too. I don’t know if you plan to call her [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (Eh-vee), but [name_m]Eric[/name_m] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] are super cute together.
I think Ev- names have become a bit trendy – there will be more other Evies than there are other Evelyns, because of all the [name_u]Everly[/name_u]/Everleighs, Evangelines, etc., but [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] is beautiful and it is a classic. Go for it.
Oh I just love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]! It is classic and vintage yet you can totally modernize it with the nicknames [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I also like the way [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] pairs with [name_f]Vera[/name_f]. Great choice, go with it!!!
[name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_m]Clark[/name_m] is absolutely stunning. I think [name_m]Erik[/name_m] & [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] are wonderful together. I don’t even really notice both of the E’s at the beginning.
