I really like Goldenrod [name]Sylvie[/name], Goldenrod [name]Lenore[/name], and Goldenrod [name]Leonie[/name].
I saw the picture and honest to god SQUEALED. They are perfection. I love, love their names. [name]Juniper[/name] and Pyrus! Perfection.
I actually like Goldenrod, but maybe using it as a middle would be easier.
I agree that [name]Sylvie[/name] is nice because Goldenrod is long, but I think Goldenrod [name]Leonie[/name] is pretty!
I think Goldenrod is great to honor your family, and Goldenrod works nicely especially with big sister [name]Juniper[/name]. Not sure what you call her, but [name]Junie[/name] and [name]Goldie[/name] are way cute (and of course brother, too).
I’d absolutely eliminate [name]Aurelia[/name], as the two “gold” names is a little much.
What about Goldenrod [name]Mary[/name] or Goldenrod [name]May[/name] or Goldenrod [name]Molly[/name] or Goldenrod [name]Maren[/name] or Goldenrod [name]Maris[/name]? Miep is a [name]Mary[/name] variant, and so are the above, so you could doubly honor your relative.
That’s such a sweet story so I see why you want to use the name! I’d call her [name]Goldie[/name] unless you’re planning on calling her by her middle name. I really like [name]Sylvie[/name].
My honest opinion is that you should use Goldenrod as a middle name. It’s a lovely story and clearly very meaningful for you, but you’re not the one who has to live with the name.
Anyway, answering the question as asked: I’d go with one of the simpler and more familiar names from your list - [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Sylvie[/name], [name]Leonie[/name], etc - so that she has a viable option if she decides she’d rather have a less out-there name.
Goldenrod [name]Leonie[/name] is pretty - goldenrod is delicate and, well, golden, while [name]Leonie[/name] adds strength to the full name without being too matchy.
