Could you ever imagine siblings named [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] & [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]?
[name_f]Harlow[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Fleur[/name_f] is what I’m crushing on right now but I really need opinions to convince me either way…
Depends on how much you value sibset cohesion. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], and [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] are just not a cohesive sibset. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] is a classic Biblical name; [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is a fusty, spunky, literary antique with a newly-acquired hipster sheen; [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] is a modern, trendy celeb pick. [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] are at least not unexpected together, but unfortunately [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] really does stick out like a sore thumb. If that doesn’t bother you – and if you truly love the name, it shouldn’t – then use [name_f]Harlow[/name_f]. But [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] [name_f]Harlow[/name_f] would not only work much better with [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m], it’s the perfect name to bridge the stylistic divide between the two.
As for names I know I shouldn’t like…[name_u]Sailor[/name_u] for a girl, [name_m]Waldo[/name_m] for a boy. [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] I would use in the middle (my favorite combo is actually [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_u]Sailor[/name_u] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]), but I think that [name_m]Waldo[/name_m] is just too weird to put on the birth certificate. Sigh.
I love [name_m]Lennox[/name_m] for a girl. No idea why, because I’m not usually a fan of boys names on girls but I really love it… I also love [name_u]Luca[/name_u] for a girl.
I like [name_m]Conan[/name_m] for a boy, which is weird. And I love the combo [name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_m]Redd[/name_m] for a girl. Which is also weird…haha.
Yes [name_f]Sybil[/name_f] I feel in love with it after Downtown [name_u]Abbey[/name_u] and I love the NN [name_f]Sibbie[/name_f]. But that multiple personality lady in that movie really screwed it up. So for now it is just a guilty pleasure name. =]
