Or [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]? I’ve been pretty set on [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] for a while, but [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] snuck up on me the other day. [name_m]Charles[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] are honor names.

Also, another round of crushes. le sigh.

I never used to have this problem. In fact, my problem was finding boys’ names that I liked and that were interesting. Now I can’t seem to keep my list under control. :confused: I haven’t even managed to completely narrow my list down from the last round of crushes. Anyway. Thoughts on these? All of them probably won’t make the list, maybe none of them. But I’m to the point where I could use some opinions.

[name_f]Do[/name_f] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_u]Noah[/name_u] work as middles for any of them? I really like [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] something (maybe [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Grey[/name_u]?), and maybe [name_m]Judah[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_m]Josiah[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], but I’m not sure. Another two names I’m crushing on, but I don’t really see using them up front.

Hm. I lean more towards [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], as I really like all those names, or possibly [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] even better!

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] – [name_u]Love[/name_u]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Atti[/name_f], as it reminds me of [name_f]Addie[/name_f], which seems like the new [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], for girls. [name_u]Gus[/name_u] is cute. I also like the idea of, say, [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_m]Leander[/name_m] going by Atli though it’d work without a [name_u]Lee[/name_u] mn too I think. Also like [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and I’d probably occasionally call him TicTac, haha.

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] – Want to love and I’m working beyond my [name_m]Hammett[/name_m] association, but it’s still there. When I think [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] my brain says [name_m]Hammett[/name_m].

[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] – [name_u]Love[/name_u] the literary connection and significance more than the actual name. I’m not a fan of “unisex” names in general though. This one leans a little feminine to me, as I’ve heard it on a few girls. And most surnames as first names sound like surname overload with my own surname so I tend to stay away from them. I guess it has a trendy vibe to it and brings to mind [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f] and [name_u]Emmett[/name_u].

[name_m]Josiah[/name_m] – [name_u]Love[/name_u]. While [name_m]Joe[/name_m] or [name_u]Joey[/name_u] are the obvious nicknames, I think [name_u]Si[/name_u] would also work.

[name_m]Judah[/name_m] – I think it’d be neat to meet a little [name_m]Judah[/name_m] and I’m intrigued by any boys name that ends in “a” or such sound without being an “iah” if you get what I’m saying.

[name_m]Linus[/name_m] – Kid with the blanket from Peanuts. That’s all I think, and that it makes a great name for a lovable lion…or maybe it already is? I also recently met a blue heeler with this name which was kind of funny to me.

[name_m]Matthias[/name_m] – a very nice name that is accessible, familiar but also kinda exotic.

[name_m]Silas[/name_m] – [name_u]Love[/name_u]. Also love the nn [name_u]Si[/name_u] / [name_m]Sy[/name_m].

I’m not sure [name_u]Noah[/name_u] or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] are really working with the names for me, honestly. [name_u]Noah[/name_u] seems overly biblical with many of them and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] too much of a departure stylistically or are sharing/clashing sounds. Maybe [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Noah[/name_u], [name_m]Matthias[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

[name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] has a really great flow to it. I love how it sounds. [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] also has a nice flow, but something about [name_u]Everett[/name_u] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m] pops out to me more. It’s lovely!

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] (probably nn [name_u]Gus[/name_u] or [name_f]Atti[/name_f], or both.) - I like it. I see it used a couple times by celebrities, but it hasn’t quite registered as trendy to me. I like [name_f]Atti[/name_f] or no nickname at all.
[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m] nn [name_u]Dash[/name_u] - I don’t know why, but I just don’t like [name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]. For some reason I get a Hippie-ish feel from it.
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u] - I prefer this on a boy, but sadly it has became one of those popular boy names used on girls names.
[name_m]Josiah[/name_m] - [name_u]Love[/name_u]! I’ve been crushing on this one as well.
[name_m]Judah[/name_m] - Hmm. I like the look of it, but prefer the sound of [name_u]Jude[/name_u].
[name_m]Linus[/name_m] - I’m neutral. It’s not a bad name, but I think it needs a certain type of child to pull it off.
[name_m]Matthias[/name_m] - I like it! Especially with that pronunciation.
[name_m]Silas[/name_m] - I’m surprised that I like this. I’ve noticed I tend to lean away from names that end in ‘s’, but [name_m]Silas[/name_m] is very charming.

Have you considered [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]? It might be just me, but [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] sounds awkward and I think it’s the ‘W’ sound. [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] [name_u]Noah[/name_u] flows nicely, but I’m not a fan of [name_u]Grey[/name_u] with it.
