ok, so [name]Kaia[/name] isnt here yet and im still thinking of what would make a good sister name for the next one lol
does [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] & [name]Evie[/name] make a good sibset? i think its cute that theyre all 4 letters, with 2 letters being the same. however if we had more that might be hard to continue.
now heres my question about [name]Evie[/name]. the obvious- is it substantial enough to stand alone? i think in our case it is. unlike most ppl i could see an [name]Evie[/name] on even an adult. maybe because ive only heard it twice- on the Mummy and on an 8yr old. i know in the UK its very popular but in the states its almost unheard of. i wouldnt mind being an [name]Evie[/name] myself. however, other choices would include [name]Eve[/name], as much as i like it something seems off. and [name]Evelyn[/name]. my closest grandmother’s mn was [name]Evelyn[/name] but she went by [name]Lynn[/name] and [name]Evie[/name] no matter the form would honor her. but [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] & [name]Evelyn[/name] nn [name]Evie[/name] seems off too. soo to go with [name]Tess[/name] & [name]Kaia[/name] do you think [name]Evie[/name] could work?
which brings me to another problem- it kinda rhymes with our last name. it sounds like Peach tree. … [name]Evie[/name] Peachtree. does it sound horrible? lol would it matter if i love it enough?
what about mns? my other grandmothers mn is [name]Amelia[/name]. i also like [name]Bridget[/name]. thats about all my ideas right now. [name]Tess[/name] [name]McKayla[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] & [name]Evie[/name] ?
other names i think have the same style but either dh doesnt like or i cant bring myself to use: [name]Hallie[/name], [name]Harper[/name], [name]Gemma[/name], [name]Eden[/name], [name]Ivy[/name], [name]Piper[/name].
thanks berries. sorry its so long! cant wait for [name]Kaia[/name] to come
I love [name]Evie[/name] I live in the UK so I’m used to hearing it used as a stand alone name, but personally I think I’d prefer to use it as a nn for [name]Eve[/name], [name]Eva[/name], [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Evelina[/name] or [name]Eveline[/name].
I think my favourite with your other names would be [name]Eva[/name], though I really don’t see a problem with you using [name]Evie[/name] on it’s own if it’s what you prefer! I definitely think it ages fine.
[name]Evie[/name] [name]Gemma[/name] would be lovely. Or [name]Evie[/name] [name]Bridget[/name]. [name]Evie[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] is nice but possibly a bit of a mouthful to say. [name]How[/name] about [name]Evie[/name] [name]Amalia[/name]? It doesn’t have the repeating “ee” sounds and is easier to say in my opinion. There’s also [name]Brigitte[/name].
I think [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] and [name]Evie[/name] sounds good as a sibset, though [name]Evie[/name] is possibly a bit mroe vintage sounding than the other names, or at least more so than [name]Kaia[/name]. Is that pronounced [name]KAY[/name]-uh or [name]KAI[/name]-uh?
[name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] and [name]Eva[/name] possibly sounds better but then [name]Eva[/name] and [name]Kaia[/name] would have matching endings and [name]Tess[/name] would be left out. It depends if things like that bother you. There’s also the name [name]Everly[/name] which I think would go quite well with your other names and could be shortened to [name]Evie[/name], or I know a baby [name]Eve[/name] who goes by [name]Evie[/name]. I actually think [name]Eve[/name] sounds better with [name]Tess[/name] and [name]Kaia[/name] than [name]Evie[/name] does and none of them would have matching endings! And [name]Eve[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] sounds pretty good to me!
I like [name]Evie[/name] but I have always thought that it needs to be a nickname to a longer name. I like the suggestion of [name]Eve[/name] - [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]… The longer [name]Eve[/name] variations do sound a bit odd with [name]Tess[/name] and [name]Kaia[/name]. I think [name]Eve[/name] [name]Amelia[/name] works. I think [name]Bridget[/name] works with them too - [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] and [name]Bridget[/name]
Here’s some other ideas: [name]Tess[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] and:
[name]Holly[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name]
[name]Rachel[/name]
[name]Elsie[/name]
[name]Heidi[/name] - love this one and sounds great with [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Tess[/name] [name]Mckayla[/name], [name]Kaia[/name] [name]Felicity[/name] and [name]Heidi[/name] [name]Amelia[/name]!
