I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] works well stand alone (it has become quite common in parts of Australia in recent years). I think [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Evie[/name_f] makes for a great combo - sweet and simple.
Also, no, I don’t think of Pokemon at all, nor do I find it too ‘cutesy’. I don’t associate anything in particular with [name_f]Evie[/name_f], either.
Hmm, it’s very over-done here in the UK. I’d say it was a fad 5/6 years ago that has now got a little old, and there are a ton of little [name_f]Evie[/name_f]'s in primary school now. Have you considered the more simple and classic [name_f]Eve[/name_f]? It definitely evokes overly-cutesy to me, and feels like the overdone Avas and Mias of a decade ago.
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a really lovely and appealing name. It works perfectly well as a full name, not just a nickname. I really like it with [name_f]Laura[/name_f]. I’m not familiar with Pokemon. I just think of a lovely friendly person when I think of [name_f]Evie[/name_f].

I do think it’s fairly nicknamey, but if you love it, go for it. Besides, it’s only in the middle spot.

Yes, I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is very pretty! It’s one of those that I’ve kind of ignored the last few years and only now started to realise how much I like it.
Is [name_f]Evie[/name_f] a nickname to me? Yes and no. I know lots of [name_f]Evie[/name_f]'s that are just [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I know one whose full name was [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] but she never went by that and I don’t think I’d ever even heard of the name at the time. I usually do prefer names like this to have a full name, but right now I’m liking [name_f]Evie[/name_f] by itself.
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] is quite cutesy, come to think of it. But I’ve known [name_f]Evie[/name_f]'s of all ages, and it works.
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] does not at all remind me of the Pokémon Eevee. It doesn’t remind me of anything, really. Maybe a fairy book I had when I was a kid where the fairy was called [name_f]Evie[/name_f], and she was cute.
When I hear the name [name_f]Evie[/name_f] I think, oh, sweet! While it may have been popular a couple of years ago, it’s not heard that often today.
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a nice combo, although I much prefer [name_f]Evie[/name_f] over [name_f]Laura[/name_f].
