i knew i wanted to include an animal inspired name for you. i considered a few ideas and finally landed on on tiggy. it’s playful, fun and colorful but still refined and grownup. i thought clementine made the combo feel straight out of strawberry shortcake, which seemed perfect!

i immediately thought alice when i saw your pictures! alice feels homespun and friendly, and reminds me of a character in the children’s book series, The Penderwicks (she’s featured in the last novel). In the book, alice is outgoing, talkative and a bit tomboyish. i also wanted to include calla in your combo, but i didn’t like the flow of calla & alice together and opted for louisa instead, so, consider calla a bonus!

the name marnie give me very coastal, artsy vibes. marnie summer was actually a favorite combo of mine a few years ago, and i made a similar mood board for the name back then. it felt meant to be! (i love that dress on the top right! so cute!)
