Ughhhhhh annoying cycles! As usual completley irregular and unpredictable.
After bleeding for about 14 days my period finally stopped. I’ve had little bits of spotting but ignored it because it was so minute. However on one occasion I wiped and it was like a light period (bright red not pink). Since then back to very little spotting. However the last two days I’ve checked cm and had ewcm (which I never see) but it’s streaked with blood? And in one occasion a little clump of blood? Again this is more red blood not just pale pink or brown.
You could be ovulating, especially if you already bled for 14 days, the blood in the CM might just be lingering blood that hasn’t gotten flushed out yet. However, if you had unprotected sex the day before, then it might not be CM you are seeing, but left over semen.
I would invest in some OPKs so you can know when you are ovulating for sure. My doctor recommended them to me since I had irregular cycles and it helped me know when I was ovulating.
Have you seen a doctor yet for your irregular cycles? It’s possible you may need assistance, especially if you don’t ovulate often. My cousin has PCOS and she only gets like 3 periods a year, so they had to use Progesterone, took 3 tries, but she finally got pregnant after a year and a half of trying!
I have PCOS as well, but my cycles aren’t as extreme, the longest I go is two months without a period, and that is pretty rare for me, my cycle usually is 35-40 days.
Yep I’ve been back and forth drs but never get anything from them. They just say keep trying. I had day 3 bloods before which were normal and they want me to have day 21 bloods but bc I’m not regular they said wait for a positive opk but I haven’t been getting one. I’m thinking of seeing a private gynaecologist as its the only way I’m gonna get answers as to whether there’s any problems or not.
I had normal blood work. My doctor had an ultrasound done on my ovaries, which showed multiple cysts, and that is how she knew I had PCOS. I’m not sure why your doctor’s won’t do other tests besides blood… but I’m in the USA and my OBGYN was more proactive than most. Some doctors make you wait a year of trying before checking, mine checked after 6 months because she knew I had irregular cycles to see if there was another cause.
Thanks all…this cycle wasn’t the one unfortunately, but as expected. I’ve contacted a private gynecologist as I need answers, I’m fed up of feeling like I’m stuck in limbo, lol.
