The banner add on the Girls Names forum with women in low cut tops and text saying something like: “we don’t like you men, we want YOU!” is obnoxious and seems ill fitting to this site.
I doubt I am the only one who thinks so.

I’m not sure Nameberry have control of all their advertising: Report: Google Controls 44 Percent Of Global Online Advertising It’s to my understanding that other advertising parties distribute advertisements according to what sites you visit, the kinds of things you Google, etc. For example I was researching cars for a story and I visited the official site for [name]Lexus[/name] – just the once. The next few months, every site I went to I was bombarded by [name]Lexus[/name] ads even though I’m not old enough to drive. lol. Maybe you visited a celebrity gossip site or something, even if briefly, so they fired a flirty ad at you.
If you have Google Chrome as your server, you can get Google [name]Ad[/name] Block here to ensure no ads interrupt you again. If not there are other programs that can do this, but definitely check their credibility before hitting download. AdBlock — best ad blocker - Chrome Web Store
I was going to suggest the same thing as @amberdaydream. The ads on most of the sites I use are about TTC and pregnancy, as those are mainly the sites I visit. My boyfriend once borrowed my laptop to order cigars for someone as a gift, and for a few days after, all the ads on my browser were about cigarettes.
That must be it! I do love the [name]Huffington[/name] Post entertainment page…
