EXPECTING #3-Need a Name!

[name_m]Just[/name_m] found out we’re expecting #3. Our oldest is [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] our daughter is [name_f]Millie[/name_f]. We’re don’t usually find out the gender but I think we will this time. Either way if it’s a girl I’m in love with [name_f]Celia[/name_f] (still trying to get Hubby on board) but I need a middle name. And if it’s a boy ??? It has to go with [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. It doesn’t matter whether [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is the first or middle but we won’t be using it as what the baby will go by. SO any thoughts? I like strong masculine boy names and feminine girl names. On the unique side and I tend to go for the…antique sorta names. =) HELP!

Congrats! I love [name_f]Celia[/name_f], and am always trying to get my husband on board, too. And [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is one of my top choices for boys. Either one of those would be wonderful.

Some combinations:

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Mariel[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f]

On the boys’ side, my current favorite combination is [name_m]Paul[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. From your post I’m not clear on whether your baby would go by [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]…

Good luck! [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this was helpful.

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] is a really pretty name. Another one I heard recently is [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]. Suggestions for middle names: [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], [name_u]Brooke[/name_u], [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]
Boys: [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u]

[name_m]Conrad[/name_m], [name_f]Millie[/name_f], and [name_f]Celia[/name_f] are all lovely! Your style strikes me as obscure, sweet vintage. For another boy try:

[name_m]Clifford[/name_m]/ [name_m]Clifton[/name_m]/ [name_m]Clinton[/name_m]
[name_m]Alfred[/name_m] “[name_u]Alfie[/name_u]”

I think any one of these can go with [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], which is a lovely, versatile classic.

I love [name_f]Celia[/name_f]! A similar name I really like is [name_f]Talia[/name_f]/[name_f]Thalia[/name_f].

[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Tamsin[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Nicolette[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Corinne[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]

for boys:

Sorry bout the confusion. He would not be going by [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]. I like [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. [name_f]Millie[/name_f]'s full name is [name_f]Millie[/name_f] [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]…would that be too matchy? Both with E middle names?
I know too many [name_m]Paul[/name_m]'s

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is a winner for sure. Still on the hunt for a boy name though!

I have a [name_m]Konrad[/name_m], so I love your [name_m]Conrad[/name_m]'s name! I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is lovely and don’t think [name_f]Elise[/name_f] is too matchy with [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]. Most people won’t even know their middle names. Since we have similar taste in boys names, you may like some of my favorites:

What are you guys thoughts on [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Monty[/name_m]? But going by [name_m]Monty[/name_m]…Hubby is liking Monty Thomas more

Thanks for the input! I like your [name_m]Konrad[/name_m]…[name_m]Konrad[/name_m] [name_m]Wolfgang[/name_m]…such a strong name all around

Cool! I think [name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] goes very well with [name_f]Millie[/name_f] [name_f]Eliana[/name_f], and no, they’re not too matchy at all.

Here are some vintage-y boy name suggestions to go with [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]:
