My beautiful daughter [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] was born early [name_u]June[/name_u] , and much to our utter disbelief, my husband and I conceived again not 2 months later. It was such a surprise to us both, partly because we weren’t trying for a baby, and partly because little [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is still so little. I have done the test about nine times now to be extra sure, and its official! We’re in shock!
I’m so excited to have another darling in our family, and since you lovely Berries helped me name my youngest daughter, I thought I’d share my wonderful news with you all!!!
[name_u]Baby[/name_u] #6 due [name_u]June[/name_u] 2014!!!
Congrats! I remember reading you birth announcement for [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]. I agree with pp about moving this to the baby name forums because you will get more replies. Good luck!
It’s not just an ‘odd spelling’ it’s completely wrong. Irish Gaelic doesn’t work like English. What you’ve written doesn’t even say [name_u]Keeva[/name_u], it says nothing but gibberish as you’ve befuddled the Irish diphthongs.
You must have an enormous house with all those kids correct me if I am wrong, I didn’t think it was physically possible to fall pregnant earlier than three months?
I think this is BS, and I’m not defending the OP at all, but I do know a set of siblings 11 months apart. [name_m]Both[/name_m] were full term. So, yes, it’s possible, but I have my troll detector alarm going off. (Idk, it’s like a 6th sense ;))
Yep. I’m no expert but from what I know, according to Gaelic phonetics, “oi” makes an “ee” sound, “mh” makes a “veh” sound. That’s why [name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f] is pronounced [name_u]Keeva[/name_u].
So, phonetically, your daughters name reads as “Keema”.
Congratulations on your new pregnancy but I find it baffling that you other children are beautifully named with classical spellings. It jumps at me that you would intentionally spell a name wrong, when you other children have somewhat mainstream spellings.
Let’s not dwell in it please, everyone- I posted about number 6, not number 5!
[name_m]Just[/name_m] to clarify, we decided on “Coimeah” (as a middle name,) because it’s such a beautiful name. I found a second hand book on irish baby names in my local charity shop way back when I was pregnant with [name_m]Moses[/name_m], and this name (and this spelling actually) jumped out at me. It wasn’t until I was pregnant with [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] that my hubbie and I finally found a combo to use it with.
Thank you for all your congratulations,
I was a bit sceptical too like some other nbs here but I guess I know sisters 10 months apart but the younger one was premature. Due dates aren’t always 100%. Anyway I thought that was a bit unusual and wanted to clarify, this is a forum after all! [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] is my favourite name out of your sibset. Interested to see what you come up with next.
I’m with [name_u]Ren[/name_u] and [name_f]Emily[/name_f]. Why would a name be in a name book if it doesn’t exist? Sorry but you’re a troll, I’ve already messaged [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and [name_u]Ren[/name_u] as well.
