[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! So I am stuck on a name for our little girl…
[name_f]Maya[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u] or [name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u]
I love the look of [name_f]Maya[/name_f] but afraid people will pronounce it [name_f]May[/name_f]-a which is what I [name_f]DO[/name_f] NOT want, and I don’t like [name_f]Mya[/name_f].
Also, we have twins [name_m]Jack[/name_m] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f]… opinions please! Thank you!
[name_f]Maia[/name_f] [name_u]Reese[/name_u].
In my opinion this spelling has more character and history. The look is more streamlined and you won’t have to worry about mispronunciation. Beautiful name.
I think the [name_f]Maia[/name_f] spelling is much prettier. I know a [name_f]Maya[/name_f] and she pronounces it [name_f]May[/name_f]-a and I think that would be a common pronuciation with that spelling.
I personally prefer [name_f]Maia[/name_f], but if you like [name_f]Maya[/name_f] go for it! They are both lovely and I don’t think you’ll have any pronunciation issues.
