Expecting another daughter needing name help!

I’m expecting my second daughter and would like to find that perfect name to somewhat match or go well with my first daughter’s. Her name is Lucilyn and we call her [name_f]Luci[/name_f]. I love “L” names as well as combination names like my first borns, but am open to anything. I have some names i think are pretty but nothing that I really feel work best for me.
Thank you for any help!

Congrats on daughter No. 2!

Can you list some of the names you think are pretty? [name_m]Even[/name_m] if they’re not working for you, they may give us more insight into your style.

But anyway, here are ideas for you…

Combination names:

L names:

[name_f]Noella[/name_f] or [name_f]Noelia[/name_f]

I moved this thread to a more appropriate forum (as I’ve said “All About Nameberry” is for site/technical issues and not name discussions).

Lucilyn and:

[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] / [name_f]Loralei[/name_f] / [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Roselle[/name_f] or [name_f]Rosellen[/name_f]
Rosabeth or Rosamae
Ariellen or Ariellis
[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] / Coraleigh
[name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f] or Elsabeth
[name_f]Joelle[/name_f] . [name_f]Joellen[/name_f] . [name_f]Jobeth[/name_f]
Emelle or [name_f]Embeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Eviana[/name_f] . [name_f]Eliora[/name_f] . Eleona / Eliona
Adelayne / [name_f]Adelaine[/name_f]

Lucilyn is interesting. Is it said like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_u]Lynn[/name_u] or more like Loo-sah-lynn (similar to how [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] doesn’t sound like [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_u]Lynn[/name_u])? I’ve never heard Lucilyn before.

Other thoughts

I met a girl once named Lindara. I think it’s lovely and it would suit lucilyn

My top choice for you is [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. [name_f]Luci[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] are a great sibset!

Lucilyn and [name_f]Marielle[/name_f]

Lucilynn is adorable!

You can also use your own spellings  Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m] to you!

I pronounce Lucilyn like [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-[name_u]Lynn[/name_u]. It is very different and most people havent heard it that’s what I love about it!

I really like [name_f]Luci[/name_f] and [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] together but I’m not sure because i don’t care for [name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] or [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] as a first name since [name_u]Lexi[/name_u] would be kinda a nickname. So I’m trying to play with that name some still.

Some other names I have thought about are
Maelynn ([name_f]May[/name_f]-[name_u]Lynn[/name_u])
Madisynn (mad-ah-syn)
Sydalee (syd-ah-lee)
Laciann (lacey-ann)

Lucilyn and [name_f]Annelie[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Lillianne[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Leonie[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Coralie[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Sadie[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f]

I love the suggestion of [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]. It’s obviously not as unusual as Lucilyn but I feel they flow together so sweetly, especially if this is your last child. And I love the nickname possibilities!

Lucilyn and [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Luci[/name_f] and [name_f]Lori[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Luci[/name_f] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f]

Lucilyn and [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f]
[name_f]Luci[/name_f] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u]
