I started a post on the girls names section but I figured out it would be easier over here because I don’t know the sex yet.
Well, we have a daughter named [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and we are expecting baby number 2 due [name_u]January[/name_u] 18 (more or less).
Of course we have started thinking of names. My favourite girl name is [name_f]Arabia[/name_f], my boyfriends favourite one is [name_f]Karen[/name_f] (over here in Spain its a modern and not very usual name). I like the name [name_f]Karen[/name_f] but I don’t imagine having a baby named [name_f]Karen[/name_f]. I am veeery lost on middle names, but I am pretty set on a second middle name starting with C and ending in A, with two syllables. We’re looking for fairly uncommon names. Other names I like are [name_f]Bronte[/name_f], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], [name_u]Brinley[/name_u], but I would use them on a middle spot. (I love B names hahaha!)
As for boy names, we are pretty set on [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] (tee-[name_m]AH[/name_m]-go) for a first name (I didn’t like it at first, but it’s the name that he has always loved and I do love it now), but we have no clue as for what to use on the middle spot. He says that he doesn’t mind what to use in the middle spot as long as it flows well with [name_m]Thiago[/name_m]. I love italian boy names like [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_m]Matteo[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]Milo[/name_m], [name_m]Levi[/name_m]… But none of them seem to fit well with him. On the second middle name I’m looking for somthing short and unexpected.

I know I’ve seen you mention [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] before on these boards before, it’s seems to be a name you absolutely love, and I love it for you too! Would [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Karen[/name_f] C—a be an option for you? I really like that. I don’t have many other middle name ideas, but pulling some from the list linked in your signature maybe [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_u]Blaire[/name_u], [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Evie[/name_f] or [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]? I particularly love [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f]!

As far as middle names for [name_m]Thiago[/name_m], my first thought was [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. Short, handsome and unexpected. [name_u]Sage[/name_u] gives me the same feel as [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] and [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] :). Or maybe

I feel like these suggestions are a bit all over the place :/. Maybe they will give you a little inspiration at least… I don’t know much of anything about Spain and Spanish names/culture, so please excuse me if I am way off with my suggestions!

[name_f]Arabia[/name_f] is a beautiful name for a daughter, but personally [name_f]Karen[/name_f] has always sounded like carrot to me…as a middle is could work though. My first thought for [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] is [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] but I think with a name like [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] it needs something different, maybe [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Lux[/name_f] or [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f], for the single syllables I’d put C__a as the forst middle not second. I agree with pp, [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] is gorgeous with [name_f]Arabia[/name_f].
I have [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] on my longlist so my immediate thought is [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] or [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u]. Maybe [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Arrow[/name_m] or [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] might work?

From your suggestions [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Saffron[/name_f] sounds gorgeous but it doesn’t seem to completely fit in with the second last name, but maybe it’s something that we can consider. I am really open to more ideas as I’m probably having more kids in the future. My top name number 2 is [name_f]Marcella[/name_f], which you mentioned, which is feminine and sweet.
[name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] flows really nicely!! I’ll suggest it to my Dbf because I love it! I also love the name [name_m]Dante[/name_m] (actually my top name nº 2) but I like it more as a first name because it sounds too strong for a middle. [name_m]Adriel[/name_m] is also a common name here in Spain, but due to the spanish pronunciation it would make it excessively long for my taste.
I agree that [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] sounds just right but I’m looking for something a bit more out there, although this can be another safe option. [name_f]Arabia[/name_f] [name_f]Jasmine[/name_f] sounds nice, and changing my second middle name option to the first spot, makes it sound very feminine, definately an option to consider.
As for [name_m]Thiago[/name_m], I loooove the name [name_u]Luca[/name_u] BUT mi BFFs brother is named [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] so… A big no-no. [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Roman[/name_m] is stunning but, with the spanish pronunciation, the accent is in the last syllable and it just makes it sound weird. [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is really nice aswell!!

The shame with [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] is that, although I also like the spanish version: Tristán, it sounds very similar to the word ‘[name_f]Triste[/name_f]’ which means sad… And idk if it can be a problem.
