[name_f]Silvia[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] make a fabulous sibling set. And, lol, no, trying to negotiate names while exhausted and nauseous is a big challenge.
I love [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] and it sounds great with [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. If not [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] then how about [name_u]Elias[/name_u]? Still old school like your husband likes but maybe a little more familiar for your taste. Plus it has the nn [name_m]Eli[/name_m] built in if you would want to use a nickname
[name_f]My[/name_f] boys list has [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband has [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m].
He doesnt even do research or anything. I spout off names and theres a yes or no. It works out well though.
I have loved [name_f]Silvia[/name_f] since high school and has such confidence about it. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] I questioned until birth, my husbands pick and he was 100% confident. I do love it now. We have [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] for a girl this time around and I’m super good on that… But a boy, geez it seems harder. I never day dreamed boy names.
I think, atleast for me personally, when I am pregnant my brain should be trusted to only care for plants, do laundry, you know… the basics…
[name_m]Ivan[/name_m] is TOP on my list. its strong and that V. I love me some V. Also, [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] is [name_m]John[/name_m]… and if i did [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] my dad’s name was [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] IV. [name_f]My[/name_f] nephew is [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_f]VI[/name_f]…so its a super sentimental connection.
The husband hasnt warmed up to it at all.
Maybe I just need to do some more campaigning and confidence around [name_m]Ivan[/name_m]… [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is cool, seems creative, and the husband and I are both artists and in marketing/creative… but it just seems random.
What about [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]? I think it ticks so many of your boxes… It has the same sounds and origin as [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], but seems more in the style of the girls’ names to me.
It also could link with the girls’ names, (the -iv/vi- sound) if you used a V middle: [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_m]Victor[/name_m], [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m].
[name_f]Silvia[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m].
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is not a favorite of mine. I think that if you are so back and forth on it, then it’s not the name for you (especially since he picked [name_f]Violet[/name_f]). I love your choice of [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] and [name_u]Everett[/name_u]…in that order. Another name with a v sound in the middle…[name_m]Calvin[/name_m].
Well, I think [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is fabulous and it goes great with your daughters’ names, but if you have reservations it’s worth looking into other options.
So old school with lots of style. You’re definitely hitting it with the other names on your list. [name_m]Ivan[/name_m], [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Gavin[/name_m], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_u]Everett[/name_u], and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] are all wonderful names. Has hubby given those all a no?
[name_u]Truly[/name_u], campaigning does not work. In the end, someone is going to be unhappy. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has a girls name that he has always loved, and I have always hated. I have a boys name that I have always loved, and my husband won’t budge.
It’s better to come to a happy middle ground then be stuck with a name you aren’t sure about. I like [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], but not if you’re going to question it forever!
i do like [name_u]Evan[/name_u] and [name_m]Evander[/name_m] too.
The husband has said no to all on my list but I think he is half listening since he has this feeling it is another girl. This time I am more inclined to not find out.
Maybe I will put a list on the fridge and just let it settle…see if any warm up to him.
I definitely get the cool, creative vibe from [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], and I agree with others that [name_f]Silvia[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] make a great sibling set. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t give up on it yet!
I kind of liked [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] until I spelled it out loud. E Z like easy. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband immediately came up with a bunch of jokes.
[name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is currently pretty trendy and shooting up the charts so it’s not as uncommon as you think.
I think [name_m]Ezra[/name_m] is lovely- very strong and handsome.
