this is just like the fake blog entries game, but with a specific timeline thatās not current ā weāll be starting in the year 1900! the ācurrent dateā will update regularly (iāll make it a wiki page so yāall can update it too!), and it will be about 6 days for every 1 real day. iāll attach a photo of a chart so you can update it accurately! it might be fun to look up āon this day in timeā to make things historically accurateā¦ or you can imagine and make the events historical fiction! please to introduce your made-up family below!!
current date,
This is a great post! I have no idea however of which names were popular in [name_f]Italy[/name_f] in 1924 but if someone has links for me I would be glad. I feel like most of my names fit the time line though:
[name_f]Perla[/name_f], [name_f]Gisella[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], Fridaā¦
my eldest sonās name is augustus theodore, but we usually call him gus. heās 7 years old, and oh heās a spirited one! so full of vim and vigor, but such a big heart. he loves to be in the backyard constructing forts out of anything he can get his hands on. gus has such a big imagination ā heās forever embarking on adventures, armed with naught but a wooden sword and a bucket for a helmet. he just loves to be with his little friends, and thereās a real sense of camaraderie amongst his band of merry adventurers. iāāāve no doubt heāll leave an indelible mark on all those he meets, just as he has on our humble household.
my second born is my only daughter ā five-year-old dottie. her full name is dorothy opal, and we meant it to be a double name, but she has a neighbor named dorothy who she doesnāt get along with. therefore, she insists on being called dottie. although not what was intended, itās a sweet name and it fits her well. dottie is a whirlwind of imagination and charm. sheās quite the little princess, often found twirling in her fanciful dresses and regaling us with tales of knights and fairies. she just loves to build with the wooden blocks her daddy made her, and iām always thoroughly impressed by her creativity. sheās quite the little mother to her younger brother as well.
my youngest bundle of joy is remington wilbur āremy.ā even at three, heās already full of energy and mischief. but heās so darling! whether heās toppling over stacks of books or galloping around the house on his imaginary steed, he keeps us on our toes with his adventurous spirit. amidst all the chaos, thereās a sweetness to him that simply melts my heart. remyās never without his beloved blue bunny, dot, named after his big sister. he loves to cuddle with me, even with my big pregnant belly!
speaking of which, iām expecting my fourth child soon. the baby should be arriving in the next two months!
iāll join! a little late but better late then never!!
itās now the 23rd of july according to the chart so iāll go by that!!
hi! hope everyone is well, iām helen. iām a mother too my one beautiful daughter lila. weāre all expecting our second baby this month. my gorgeous baby girl lila turned one is june, and weāre so exited for her to become a big sister. hope all else is well! š«¶š»
hello! iāll join in!

hello! my name is margaret and i am a mother of six lovely children.
-the eldest is james robert. he is 17 and is often found at the railroad with his father now that he is old enough.
-elizabeth shirley ālissyā is 15. she is all about reading and learning. sheās hoping to go into high school next year. when sheās not reading or learning, sheās often found outside watching her younger siblings.
-the twins, rose virginia and ruth florence, are 12. they are often found exploring outside, climbing trees, playing along the river, or laying in fields watching the clouds. while they do argue, (as siblings tend to do) they are each others best friend.
-charles george ācharlieā is 9 and he, similar to the twins, is often outside, most likely covered in mud and river water. he loves to spend time with his friends outdoors.
-Little miss princess, frances omelie āfrankieā is 5. she is our little girly-girl. at this point she doesnāt love the nickname āfrankieā and has been trying to get us to stop, but we never remember.
i hope all of you are well!

we welcomed our newest addition on april 17th, and sheās a beautiful healthy baby girl! her name is ruby adelaide. we all love her dearly, and each of the children has a different view on ruby.
now-eight-year-old gus loves her. he wants to be involved in everything - from playing with her, to dressing her, to holding her when i am busy in the kitchen. itās quite darling to watch! however, he tends to get carried away and forgets that sheās only a baby. we have to remind him often to be gentle when playing with her and to sit down when he holds her!
dottie also loves to care for ruby, and she doesnāt love that gus also likes to be the babyās caretaker. there have been several times when we had to discipline her for trying to pull ruby away from gus as if she were a toy! it would be alarming, except sweet dottie isnāt very strong so ruby has never been hurt by it. besides those few instances, sheās very good with her and is quite the little mother!
remy on the other hand, is not nurturing. heās fascinated by ruby, and he loves to play with her, but he doesnāt understand why she canāt catch the ball when he throws it at her! no matter how much we try to explain, he just doesnāt understand. the poor guy is definitely feeling a bit of jealousy, as heās sought out attention from both me and theodore, my husband, a lot more than usual.
despite the adjustments and occasional challenges, our household feels even more complete with little ruby adelaide. watching each of my children interact with her in their own unique ways fills my heart with joy and gratitude. as we navigate the joys and trials of parenthood with our growing brood, i canāt help but marvel at the love that binds us all together.
