[name_u]Welcome[/name_u] to all the new joiners!
@mimigeorgina [name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I also had several girls in a short amount of time! Our three children are [name_f]Alice[/name_f] who is 3, [name_f]Clara[/name_f] who is 2, and our youngest is [name_f]Violet[/name_f] who is 5 months! We were initially worried when we got pregnant with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] so quickly after having [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (Alice was only 5 months old when I found out I was pregnant with [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and they are only 11 months apart as [name_f]Clara[/name_f] was born early!), but they are so close with each other, and I donāt think Iād have it any other way. By the time I found out I was pregnant with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] we knew weād be able to handle it! Having a 3 year old, 2 year old, and newborn seemed like it was going to be much easier than having an 11 month old and a newborn! Of course it was still hard, and some of those few weeks seem like a blur now, but it was all worth it for sure! [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is very shy and reserved, and while [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is as well, sheās definitely the more outgoing one, and is willing to try new things, we really feel like [name_f]Clara[/name_f] has helped [name_f]Alice[/name_f] come out of her shell a bit more, and they are already so caring and helpful towards [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Theyāre definitely all the best of friends!
@snowmaiden Congratulations, [name_u]Hazel[/name_u]! [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Hermione[/name_f] is a wonderful name, and your girl is so beautiful!
We are reaching the tail end of summer here, and while we are sad to see it go (not really, but we will miss the pool days!), the girls are so excited for fall to be starting! [name_f]Alice[/name_f] wonāt officially start pre-k until next year, but she is going to attend a little learning group one day a week this year! They start on [name_m]Friday[/name_m] (the 8th), but the actual days she will attend the group is [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]! We wanted to ease her into attending school as she struggles with anxiety, and as we are navigating that and starting school soon, we figured out that this would be the best option for our family! The āclassā is from 9:00 - 12:00, and there is about 12 kids and two or three teachers (depending on the week), weāve already met the staff, and they seem so kind and while [name_f]Alice[/name_f] has a hard time warming up people, she did seem comfortable in the class room with the teachers! [name_f]Clara[/name_f] was very sad she couldnāt go too but is very excited now that weāve planned to have a set craft and reading time each [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] when [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is at school! I donāt quite think she realized that we usually do those things everyday anyways, but hey, it works for me if it works for her!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] will be 6 months in exactly a week, and itās so bittersweet! She can roll over all by herself, and is learning how to sit up! She adores her sisters, and they love her every bit as much!
In the last 2-3 months Iād say our house has significantly calmed down (while we loved having a 3 y/o, 2 y/o, and a newborn, it was quite chaotic even at the best of times), and we are now learning the grove and schedule that fits best for our family at this stage! Of course now is the time [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] keep begging us to have another baby
[name_f]My[/name_f] husband very much so wants another. Not because he wants a boy, but because he feels like he has so much more love to give to another baby, because he feels like there is a space in our home, that in his mind, already belongs to another baby. I went back and forth for a while, but I too, would love to have another. Weāve tentatively decided to start trying next year for another! Maybe weāll be the crazy people with a 4 year old, a 3 year old, a 1 year old, and a newborn if things go well?
I hope everyone is doing well! Weāre crossing our fingers for some fall weather here now that itās [name_u]September[/name_u], but also trying to appreciate the last bits of summer.
