I’ve always liked the name, now I’m deep love with it! I dunno, it would sound better as a first or a middle though. What do you ladies think? [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Lydia[/name]'s too old fashion? The last name would be [name]Terry[/name].
Right now I’m writing a story, with one of my character’s name, also [name]Lydia[/name]. See! I’m obsessed!
As a first name:
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Annalise[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Grace[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name] | [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Brielle[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Janae[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
As a middle name
[name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]
[name]Reina[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]
I really like [name]Lydia[/name]. It has that balance of old timey simplicity and a very pretty feminine sound–I think I prefer it as a first name. There’s a sweet old childrens book called “Henner’s [name]Lydia[/name]” that is probably what first made me love the name.
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is gorgeous and [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name] is lovely too.
[name]Lydia[/name] is lovely! No wonder you love it. I’ve been considering it lately, too, as I just rediscovered Pride and Prejudice. Although that [name]Lydia[/name] leaves a bit to be desired, lol!
I really like [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Anneliese[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Gabrielle[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Grace[/name], and [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] from your list. If [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Janae[/name] was [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Jane[/name], that would completely get my vote, as well! And I really love [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name] that is also on your list.
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] is so pretty. [name]Hope[/name] is underused as a first and middle in my opinion. I have a friend who just had twin girls and she named them [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Hope[/name]. I was so pleased to see [name]Hope[/name] as a first! It’s so pretty!
I love [name]Lydia[/name] too! Some combos you might like:
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Raine[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hazel[/name]
[name]Claire[/name] [name]Lydia[/name]
I love [name]Lydia[/name]! I would prefer to see it as a first name, and I like your combination of [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Annalise[/name]. I don’t think it is too old fashioned at all.
Not at all to old fashioned! In fact isn’t it in the top 100? I could be wrong there, but it’s gorgeous as a first name. My husband vetoed it or it would be on my short list.
I think [name]Lydia[/name] is absolutedly stunningly beautiful! I like [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] best!
[name]Lydia[/name] is a precious name. It is getting more popular, and is currently #96 in the US - trending slowly but steadily upward.
My 4 mo. old niece is named [name]Lydia[/name]. It is so sweet and fresh. Plus, I just think the combination of sounds in [name]Lydia[/name] sounds really beautiful and sophisticated. I also happen to think Lydi is a really cute nn; however, my sister disagrees!
[name]Lydia[/name] [name]Hope[/name] is very nice.
I really like [name]Arielle[/name] [name]Lydia[/name], but I can’t get behind [name]Lydia[/name] as a first name. I’ve met a few Lydias, and they’ve all been whiny and bratty, so I’m biased against them.
