I love [name]Victor[/name] and [name]Harlen[/name]/[name]Harley[/name]. I think that [name]Phillip[/name] (nn [name]Pip[/name] is adorable), [name]Robert[/name] and [name]Richard[/name] are usable, and perhaps [name]Glenn[/name], though that just screams “dad name” at me as it’s the name of my father.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has responded so far. I have been going through everyone’s relies and they are very helpful.
I was a little concered with how [name]Glenn[/name] would go over here. Surprisingly, it was better than I thought it would be. All of these names honor men that are important to me so I would be happy to use any of them. I just have to figure out which names I want to use for a future baby.
I actually like all of them except for [name]Harlen[/name]/[name]Harley[/name]. I’ve never been able to understand that one, though obviously it appeals to many other people. [name]Glenn[/name] could make a very unexpected first name, but I also feel like it would be a flexible middle name to complement most anything. [name]Victor[/name], [name]Phillip[/name], [name]Eugene[/name], [name]Richard[/name], and [name]Wally[/name] (I love [name]Walter[/name] and [name]Wallace[/name]) are all great! I love [name]Pip[/name] as a nn for [name]Phillip[/name], and [name]Hardy[/name] for [name]Richard[/name]. [name]Robert[/name] I would save for the middle, personally, as I find it a bit bland, but it’s perfectly acceptable and no one would bat an eye
I think all of them are usable, though personally I do find [name]Richard[/name] and [name]Eugene[/name] dated but not to the point they are unusalble, especially if they are honouring family. I love [name]Phillip[/name], and actually think [name]Glenn[/name] is kind of cool.
