Family Naming Trends IRL?

So, the Kardashians and the Duggars are pretty well known for their same letter trends.

While my husband and I revisited our name for a daughter, we realized that if we were to have a girl and name her [name_f]Amelia[/name_f], all four of my mother’s grandchildren will be A names -[name_f]Amelia[/name_f], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], Azalynn, and [name_u]Allison[/name_u]. I thought it was kind of interesting.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about y’all? Any kind of family name themes (whether on purpose or accidental)?

My mum thought it would be a great idea to change up the spellings of our names to include the letter Y. My name is [name_f]Eryn[/name_f] and my sisters have variants of [name_f]Keira[/name_f] and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (I won’t put the actual spellings for privacy). Me and [name_f]Jade[/name_f] got it a lot better than [name_f]Keira[/name_f] because hers was really butchered to make sure the Y was in there and it’s often pronounced wrong.

My husband and his brothers all have middle names that start with w.

My Mom and her sisters all have one syllable middle names.

*My husband and siblings all have multiple names (one has a first and two middles but goes by an unrelated nickname; one has two first names and no middle; he has one first and two middles; one has seven or eight total names…one first, several middle, and two last…no one, even him, is for sure on how many he has).

*My blooded-female siblings and I have names that end in an A. Step-sister doesn’t.
*my uncle’s family follows a naming pattern similar to that of the Duggar family (all J’s)

My sisters and I all have C/K names ([name_u]Courtney[/name_u], [name_f]Kaitlyn[/name_f], [name_f]Kristen[/name_f]) . My boyfriend and his brother each have occupational names that end in the -er sound ([name_u]Spencer[/name_u] and [name_u]Hunter[/name_u]). The men in my dads family all have RH initials ([name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_m]Hugh[/name_m], [name_m]Raymond[/name_m] [name_u]Hunter[/name_u], [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Hunter[/name_u])

My brother, niece* and cousins on my father’s side all have a J name. I don’t and I secretly feel left out.

*her middle name is a J name but she uses it

So including me, there are ten girl cousins on my mother’s side of the family. There are two girls with C names, two girls with A names, two girls with L names, two girls with E names, and two girls with K names. Pretty weird. But now I’m getting a new girl cousin, and her name is [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. So the trend is ruined!

My mum was wanted meanings what related to each other so my brothers name means peace, mine means laughter and my sisters is luck.

We also have two middle names each, my brother and I have family names as our middles and my sister has one family name as a middle and the other was one my mum liked
