Fantasy Names

Hullo, 'tis me. I’m in the process of making a sort of Dungeons & Dragons roleplay thing, where I’m in the place of a DM, playing NPCs, giving quests, moderating and guiding and ya know. Anywho, I’m starting out right now with these three characters who own a tavern that’s also a cover for something like a guild? The whole idea is pretty rough right now but anyway!

The owner is a dwarf, a retired adventurer, who I’ve tentatively named Voldrick Hoarfeld. He’s got a few aliases, also known as Steelarm, and Vondril Hoarfist.

This tavern has two servers, one who will serve more as a bartender I think…human brother and sister, the sister 27 and named [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] with a 22 year old brother.

I mostly came here because I have no clue what to name this brother. I’m imagining his pretty cute and excitable, gay, who wants to be an adventurer but doesn’t have the skills or permission (damn protective older sister ;)). He miiiight actually be changed to a bard but idk, maybe he’s been training in magic and is a wizard but its not actually useful fighting magic.

Anyway! What do you guys think of the names? Any good fantasy last names for these humans? What do you think of my dwarf? He actually has a wife and seven kids but they’re not really important so I didn’t list them (even though I did pick out names for them :D)

I looked at some of the similar names for [name_u]Sloane[/name_u], and here are some of my favorites:
[name_m]Cormac[/name_m]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Elliot[/name_u]
[name_u]Finley[/name_u]
[name_u]Lane[/name_u]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_m]Graham[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] / [name_m]Sayer[/name_m]
I love the names! [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] has never been a real favorite of mine, but I don’t mind it And I [name_u]LOVe[/name_u] the name for the dwarf.
One question I do have is that Voldrick Hoarfeld and Vondril Hoarfist are pretty similar names. (both start with vo- and hoarf-) Is the similarity intentional?
If it’s meant to be a cover name / code name, then having it so, so close to his real name might be a bit confusing. But that’s just something to think about.

Thank you! Those names are great! Definitely putting them up for consideration, they’re just what I was looking for.

Heh, yeah it was intentional. I meant it sort of as when he was a young adventurer he wanted a bit of a cover name but not so far from his own name. I might make it more different, then.

If you wouldn’t mind, what do you think of his family’s names?
Yurkza, his wife.
Thormund
Deldrick
Germund
Oldra
Girdi
Kaldrin
[name_u]Ardin[/name_u]
In order from oldest to youngest (Oldra and Girdi being twins. I have tentative ages but they’re roughly translate to dwarven…Thormund is meant to be just about becoming a full adult, the twins being young teenagers, and [name_u]Ardin[/name_u] being a small child)
