Faves of these four?

For some weekend fun - but also hoping to have one day for another daughter (sister to Will@). Which two names do you like the most (and if you have time, why)? For me, best name always more important than perfect “sibset” so don’t worry too much about going with Will@. Thanks :two_hearts: (Solène could also be Solenne, pn So-LENN)

[name_f]My[/name_f] faves are:

[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] → bold and strong with a distinctive but familiar sound. I like the -dra ending and the softer first sound - they work well

Solène → it feels as once solemn and sunny, serious but stylish. Visually appealing and an interesting sound

I like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] and [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] best. They’re both spirited and down to earth. I love when a name contains different personalities, and these two are both very versatile and evergreen.

I love Claudia for its strong and rhythmic sound and its chic, sophisticated feel. I like the nn options Claude and Claudie, as well as just calling her Claudia in full!

Phaedra is gorgeous and ethereal, a name that stands out in a crowd. I love the way it looks and sounds, along with the imagery it conjures of blue seas, rocky coastline and Greek statues.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites:

[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - I am weirdly not that connected to this name personally; I had a very strange dream where I had a daughter and none of my favorite names fit her, so I named her [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] (Ruth was a family name), and this poor child came out with black yarn for hair like a cabbage patch doll lol. That image still sticks with me and I can’t seem to get past it, but I love Josephine’s nicknames (at least some of them!). [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Posy[/name_f] and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], but I love the idea of [name_f]Fia[/name_f] or [name_f]Sosie[/name_f], even [name_f]Josie[/name_f] is nice. I love the aesthetic of [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], too, she’s so timeless and sleek.

[name_f]Claudia[/name_f] - this name I’ve been in love with for years, I sort of forgot about her but I’ve been loving her again, she just feels so understated but also kind. Quiet, lover of stories, generous from her heart. I can’t envision a [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] who doesn’t have a beautiful soul.

[name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] - eh, I’m not a huge fan of a lot of Greek names and I don’t love the [name_f]Faye[/name_f] sound either.

[name_f]Solene[/name_f] - probably my third favorite; I like “soh-LEN” in theory, I just don’t love [name_f]Selena[/name_f] or most -sol- names (Marisol, [name_f]Soleil[/name_f], etc.) so I don’t find myself super drawn to her, but I do like the sound a lot.

Also like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] & [name_f]Willa[/name_f] or [name_f]Claudia[/name_f] & [name_f]Willa[/name_f] together a lot (not that I dislike [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] or [name_f]Solene[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] together!).

Good luck!

I cracked up at the cabbage patch hair! That dream would require EMDR. :joy:

Thanks for the images and insights; J&C old faves, P&S new to the list. I love strong len part of Solenne…
