My niece’s name…Adelae (add-uh-lay). The long form is so pretty and feminine but 90% of the time she goes by [name_f]Addy[/name_f].

[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is simply beautiful. None of the others appeal to me at all.

[name_f]Adele[/name_f] is another lovely option.

Of these, I really like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f].

[name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Adele[/name_f] are my other favourites, and I also have a soft spot for [name_f]Amada[/name_f], which would shorten to [name_f]Addie[/name_f] very naturally. [name_f]Adele[/name_f] is tied to the singer at the moment, but the name has such a long history that I don’t think it matters at all.

I voted for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. But, I have a name very similar that I may suggest. I just heard it! [name_f]Aveline[/name_f], pronounced the same as [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] but with the ‘v’. The nickname could be Avvy!

My personal favorite is [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], with [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] as a runner up :wink: I also love [name_f]Adele[/name_f]!

[name_f]Adeline[/name_f] from your options - I’ve never quite been able to get behind [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], especially as I find it somewhat awkward to say. [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] is even prettier (though it doesn’t have the [name_f]Addie[/name_f] nickname).

[name_f]Adelia[/name_f] is another beautiful [name_m]Ad[/name_m]- name.

Then [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], then [name_f]Adeline[/name_f]. [name_u]Addison[/name_u] is also cute, but I like it better for a boy in general.

Mine is [name_u]Addison[/name_u] or [name_f]Adelyn[/name_f] - both are some of my favourite names, though I have them spelled as [name_f]Addisyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Adalynn[/name_f].

I voted for [name_f]Adeline[/name_f], but my absolute favourite [name_f]Addie[/name_f] name is [name_f]Adela[/name_f] - it’s so gorgeous and elegant!

I love both [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f], and I am warming up to [name_u]Addison[/name_u]… but my current favorite is [name_f]Adira[/name_f].
