[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
Here are my thoughts-
[name_u]Robin[/name_u] (maybe with the nn Bobby) (I love [name_u]Robin[/name_u] because of [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Williams/Christopher [name_u]Robin[/name_u], but is it too feminine for a boy in the US?)-I donāt know if itās too feminine. I find it more charming for a boy. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the bird imagery. Iām not sure that I personally love [name_u]Bobby[/name_u], but it is creative. I like the nn [name_m]Ben[/name_m] or [name_m]Benny[/name_m] if anything.
Miles-I really like [name_u]Milo[/name_u], but am lukewarm on [name_u]Miles[/name_u]. I think that itās just really over done in my area, so it doesnāt do much for me. Itās not unpleasant though.
Adam-This is fine. Itās a name that I want to like more, but am not that excited about the way it sounds. I like that itās classic & simple & not over done.
Fraser-I really donāt like the sound of this, & it reminds me so much of the TV show.
Matteo-Iām really picky about this & need it to be [name_m]Mateo[/name_m]. Not sure why! Itās a handsome name though.
[name_u]James[/name_u] āJamieā-James is a lovely classic. I prefer just [name_u]James[/name_u] or the nn [name_u]Jem[/name_u]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] Jass! [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] is kind of cute; I can see the appeal. [name_f]My[/name_f] sisterās name is [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] though, so it leans feminine to me.
[name_m]Christopher[/name_m] āKitā-This is nice. I love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] on a boy or a girl! [name_m]Christopher[/name_m] is a good solid name. I donāt like [name_u]Chris[/name_u] at all, but doing exclusively [name_u]Kit[/name_u] should avoid that.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (does the āWā make it sound too peanut buttery (amorphous)?)-I donāt know if the āwā makes it sound peanut buttery, but I like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]! Itās oddly popular, but a beautiful name. Similar vibe as [name_u]Robin[/name_u] (and similarly used for girls sometimes, even though itās way boyish to me.) Gentle and woodsy.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] (same question as to [name_u]Robin[/name_u] ā too feminine?)-I donāt think itās too feminine; this one I think is maybe used more for boys. I think itās cute, but kind of hard to say.
Marcel-This is different, but just not my cup of tea. Not sure why. Maybe Iām just not used to it.
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] (I always thought [name_u]Dean[/name_u] from [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls was sooo cute with his 90s curtain hair and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Dean[/name_u], but Iām not sure if this name is dated)-Nah, itās not dated. Itās ready for a comeback. I donāt love the sound for some reason, but itās an interesting choice.
Jesse-This gives me a similar vibe as Dean; kind of a cool cowboy. I donāt love it myself, but itās not bad.
Leo-Super adorable & super popular.
Kieran-I have a nephew named [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] spelled this way. Heās great, but eight years later I still wish it were [name_m]Ciaran[/name_m]. [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] is more well known. His name still confused people sometimes, but once people figure it out everyone loves it.
August-I like it a lot. Very handsome and manly but feels kind. I mainly love it for the nns [name_u]Augie[/name_u] & [name_u]Gus[/name_u]. Itās a tad common, but a great old fashioned name.
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] (although I donāt really like a lot of the nns
If you do like one of the nns, please let me know as Iād like to know your perspective)-This is artsy & handsome. I like the nns [name_m]Satch[/name_m] & Bash!
[name_u]Jasper[/name_u] (does this name sound raspy/shifty?)-Oh my gosh, it does sound shifty. Iāve never liked this name, & shifty is the word that Iāve been looking for to describe how Iād find a [name_u]Jasper[/name_u]!
Evan-I love [name_m]Ewan[/name_m], but somehow [name_u]Evan[/name_u] just seems too 90s/early 2000s.
Nico-Really cute. Smart & slightly exotic but short & simple.
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
