Ok, full disclosure, this is for a dog, BUT we are looking for a human name that’s short and starts with an F.
I like [name_u]Fern[/name_u], and my husband likes [name_f]Flo[/name_f] (heaven help me). He has vetoed [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], and [name_f]Franny[/name_f], but said maybe to just [name_u]Fran[/name_u]. He likes [name_u]Florence[/name_u] but says it’s too long; hence, [name_f]Flo[/name_f]. For a boy dog, he likes [name_m]Fritz[/name_m].
Our doggie is [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]! We love her name.
I think its nice for dogs to have 2 or 3 syllable names for some reason I think it helps them have time to process and pay attention when being asked to sit etc. So personally I don’t think [name_u]Florence[/name_u] is too long.
Anyway, I really like
[name_f]Freya[/name_f]
[name_u]Freddie[/name_u]
[name_f]Fia[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Flo[/name_f] and I adore [name_u]Florence[/name_u]! It’s hard to get shorter than two syllables, in my opinion. Perhaps [name_f]Florrie[/name_f] nn [name_f]Flo[/name_f]? Less letters than [name_u]Florence[/name_u]? [name_f]Florice[/name_f] (pronounced like [name_u]Florence[/name_u], but without the N) is also divine.
[name_f]Franny[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_u]Fable[/name_u], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Freyja[/name_f], [name_f]Flossie[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], [name_u]Faraday[/name_u], [name_f]Fauna[/name_f], [name_u]Flannery[/name_u], and [name_f]Forsythia[/name_f] are some F loves of mine!!
