I like…

I dislike…

[name_f]Columbia[/name_f] - makes me think of the [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] League university and NASA
[name_m]Israel[/name_m] - only for a boy and in the middle spot. Some place names don’t work for me.
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f] - over-the-top frills
[name_f]Chanel[/name_f] - brand names are so yesterday
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - trendy and I don’t like snakes (asp)
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] - dated
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f] - too frilly
[name_f]India[/name_f] - too much colonial baggage
Noreiss - is this suppose to be [name_u]Norris[/name_u]?
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] - dated
Sakarah - sad sack

Noreiss is pronounced Nah-[name_u]Reese[/name_u]. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you berries have any suggestions?

[name_f]Love[/name_f] loads of your names. I’ll comment on my favourites:
[name_m]Israel[/name_m]- Amazing for sentiment and sound! Would love to meet a little [name_m]Israel[/name_m]!
[name_f]Chanel[/name_f]-I’m not a fan of [name_f]Chanel[/name_f] as it is considered tacky where I live, [name_f]Cocoa[/name_f] is divine though!
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u]- [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name but nms.
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f]- Very popular near me at the minute but a good name, not too fond of nn [name_u]Jess[/name_u].
[name_f]Galilee[/name_f]- Great name but I would only use this as a middle.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- Beautiful but associations with the song are too strong to ignore.
[name_f]Oceana[/name_f]- Absolutely gorgeous name!

[name_m]Israel[/name_m] [name_f]Oceana[/name_f] is my favourite overall combination of your list but [name_m]Israel[/name_m] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is divine!X

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] ~ Spunky and fun. [name_f]Love[/name_f] this.

[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] ~ I know // have known too many to like this. Seems dated. I prefer [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] ~ Gorg.
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] ~ So pretty and refreshing in the first name spot.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] ~ I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f] but it’s just so popular. Maybe [name_f]Calla[/name_f]?
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f] ~ This is okay. It’s pretty but I don’t like the CAR sound. I like [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] better.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] ~ Not really my style. It’s okay though, nothing wrong with it.
[name_f]India[/name_f] ~ This sound is nice but I don’t like it used as a name.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] ~ It’s okay. A but plain…[name_f]Jane[/name_f] lol for me.

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] - very cute
[name_u]Vida[/name_u] - sounds like a cleaning brand or something (maybe I’m connecting it to Vileda)

[name_m]Israel[/name_m] - Seems kind of tacky

[name_f]India[/name_f] - I know there has been a lot of debate about [name_f]India[/name_f] on Nameberry, but I’m not so opposed to it. I probably wouldn’t use it because I have no ties whatsoever to [name_f]India[/name_f] or [name_f]Indian[/name_f] culture, but I think it could make a nice middle name if you do
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] - I love the simplicity of [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. It sounds like such an uncommon name, but it’s actually so rare to hear on a little girl nowadays!
Noreiss - I think this would bring up a hefty amount of pronunciation problems and spelling issues
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - very vintage glam, like it
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] - ditto [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], but less common
[name_f]Galilee[/name_f] - just can’t see this as an actual name

[name_f]Lily[/name_f]- Cute, but I prefer as a nickname for [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] or [name_f]Lillyana[/name_f]
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f]- Its ok.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]- its ok.
[name_f]India[/name_f]- its a country

[name_m]Israel[/name_m] - this is a boy name

[name_f]Cora[/name_f] - love love

[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - love love love
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] - I feel like this name is over. It had its time to shine in the 80s.

[name_f]Marie[/name_f] - I’m not sure. I always see this as a filler middle name.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - dislike with a passion.
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f] - it’s ok. I have a friend name this…but she is a stripper. Take from that however you feel appropriate.
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - love. [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] is better [name_f]IMO[/name_f], but [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is good too.

Thanks! My top 20 for girls right now:
in no particular order* (For middles and first)

My favorites from your list are [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]. I also like [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_u]Aspen[/name_u].

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f]- I don’t really have any opinions on this name, except that it reminds me of a cartoon I watched as a toddler.

[name_f]Cora[/name_f]- [name_f]One[/name_f] of my top names.

[name_u]Vida[/name_u] - This is one of a handful of four letter names I really like. I personally prefer [name_f]Vita[/name_f] but [name_u]Vida[/name_u] is great!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - I want to love her for Ms Hepburn but she’s just not right for me.

Very Much Not My Thang: (many of these are location names -> I only like lesser/more obscure known location names)

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] - a little too cutesy for me
[name_u]Vida[/name_u] - nice
[name_f]Columbia[/name_f] - lacks the right place name vibe that translates well to a name
[name_m]Israel[/name_m] - see [name_f]Columbia[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - cute, but a little saccharine to me
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f] - nice.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - like it
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] - like it. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f] would be perfection together
[name_f]Chanel[/name_f] - eh
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - it’s all right, but im not crazy about it
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] - dated, i believe. [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] would make a great alternative
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f]!
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] - [name_f]LOVE[/name_f]. I wish it would stop being abused as a middle name
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - a little simple. and popular.
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f] - just not a fan, sorry
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - awesome
[name_f]India[/name_f] - great
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] - nothing against it, not my favorite of classics. prefer rose.
Noreiss - never heard of this.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - I have a bad association with audrey, so my opinion is swayed.
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] - I like this one, despite the singular [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] association
[name_f]Galilee[/name_f] - not a fan at all. [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] would be neat on a boy though
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - I never got on board with this NB fave.
[name_f]Oceana[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f]! such a pretty name with great image of being on a boat surrounded by sea breezes and expansive blue water
Sakarah - not going for it.
So my favorites are [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], [name_f]India[/name_f], and [name_f]Oceana[/name_f]

My favorites from your list are:

[name_u]Vida[/name_u] [Though I prefer [name_f]Veda[/name_f]]

[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] - Cute, adorable. [name_f]Love[/name_f] it on it own and a a nn for [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f].
[name_u]Vida[/name_u] - Ehm… Not my taste. I would assume a [name_u]Vida[/name_u] was from [name_f]India[/name_f], or something like that.
[name_f]Columbia[/name_f] - Isn’t there a country named [name_f]Columbia[/name_f]? Well, even if it wasn’t, I’m not particularly fond of it.
[name_m]Israel[/name_m] - For a girl, it seems to be way to much, so I associate it with boys.
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] - Sweet and girly.
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f] - Have loved it, ever since I came across it. I love -ana names, and [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] is on the list.
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - Fresh and cute. Fits to both a child and adult.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] - Powerful name.
[name_f]Chanel[/name_f] - To … [name_f]Chanel[/name_f]? The perfume and everything? It also seems a bit trendy.
[name_u]Aspen[/name_u] - [name_u]Ever[/name_u] since I read a novel, where [name_u]Aspen[/name_u] was a boy, I have associated it with a boy.
[name_f]Jessica[/name_f] - Bit dated? Isn’t there a lot of women in their 20’s and 30’s named Jessicas? I prefer [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], as I love the nn [name_u]Jess[/name_u]/[name_u]Jessie[/name_u].
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] - Sweet, underused name for fn. People tend to use it as filler mn or use a longer version of it. I love the simple form of [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. (My favorite cousin is a [name_f]Rose[/name_f])
[name_f]Marie[/name_f] - Adorable, and just as underused as fn - and overused as a mn. I love the fact you picked [name_f]Marie[/name_f], and not [name_f]Maria[/name_f].
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - Oh, the popularity hasn’t detained me from loving [name_f]Lily[/name_f]. It’s such a gorgeous name.
[name_f]Carmela[/name_f] - I would assume a person of Latin descent would be a [name_f]Carmela[/name_f]?
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - Cute and fresh, but I prefer [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] (the -ana thing, again)
[name_f]India[/name_f] - Sweet, but I assume girls named [name_f]India[/name_f], are because their parents are honoring the country.
[name_f]Jane[/name_f] - Underused as a first name. It’s beautiful and classical.
Noreiss - Eh? No idea how to pronounce it. First time I see it.
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] - Oh, classical. [name_m]Just[/name_m] beautiful.
[name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] - Feels like [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] dated. And I keep thinking of [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_u]Monroe[/name_u]… and [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] [name_m]Manson[/name_m].
[name_f]Galilee[/name_f] - Interesting?
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] - Never liked the sound of it.
[name_f]Oceana[/name_f] - I think there’s better names that honor the ocean … like [name_f]Marina[/name_f].
Sakarah - Interesting name. But it reminds me of Sakaris, a boy name I’ve come across. (It’s basically the same name as [name_m]Zacharias[/name_m])

My absolute favorites are [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] & [name_f]Audrey[/name_f].

Thanks, berries! I love hearing your thoughts and opinions. I’ve really narrowed down my list now, and some of the names I had listed I like, but either I don’t like anymore, or just aren’t practical for me. Here’s my new list:
[name_f]Jane[/name_f]- I love the simplicity, so pretty. Classic too.
[name_f]Isobel[/name_f]- I really like this, but I don’t exactly have the best memory of someone with this name. Different spelling though, I believe.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]- So pretty, and feminine.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f]- Not overly popular, sweet and simple. Feminine and strong sounding.
[name_f]Caoimhe[/name_f]- Irish, and unique. I prefer this spelling to [name_u]Keeva[/name_u].
[name_f]Oceana[/name_f]- I’ve liked this name for a long time. Sounds girly and feminine, sweet and different.
[name_f]Rose[/name_f]- Simple and classic. I like it when paired with a unique first name. Pretty either way.
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]- [name_u]Unique[/name_u], and it’s been a favorite of mine for a few years now. I imagine a clever, pretty girl. Probably won’t use it though!
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f]- Simple, well heard of. Recently I really like it.
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]- Simple, I like it. Honors my grandmother.
[name_f]Colette[/name_f]- Honors my mom, not too heard of right now.
