Favorite names from songs

So I was listening to the radio today, and I started thinking, there are so many interesting and classic names in songs. What is your favorite name from a song you’ve heard? It could be classic rock, top 40 music, etc.

I have a few but I won’t give them away just yet. I want to see what you Nameberryites come up with.

I think we all wrote about this before, but I don’t know where that thread is.
My favorite names from my favorite rock songs:
Beatles: [name]Maxwell[/name], [name]Prudence[/name], and [name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Pink[/name] [name]Floyd[/name] (early): [name]Emily[/name] “See [name]Emily[/name] Play”
[name]Brian[/name] [name]Eno[/name]: [name]Rosalie[/name], [name]Regina[/name]
[name]Roxy[/name] [name]Music[/name]: [name]Avalon[/name]
[name]Paul[/name] [name]Simon[/name]: [name]Cecilia[/name], [name]Julio[/name]
[name]Elton[/name] [name]John[/name]: [name]Daniel[/name]
The Kinks: [name]Lola[/name]

[name]Favorite[/name] Names from Children’s Songs:
[name]Susannah[/name] - I think [name]Pam[/name] or [name]Linda[/name] wrote a blog on this.
This is sad, but I can’t think of any more!
But I love Shenandoah if that’s considered a name. I love Swanee, but that would be an ugly name I think.

The Beatles–Hey [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Fleetwood[/name] [name]Mac[/name]–[name]Rhiannon[/name]

Hmm, I’ll probably think of others later–it’s often hard to like both the name and the song

I can pretty much say the reason I like these names so much is at least in part to the songs (spellings differ if preferred):
[name]Sara[/name] - [name]Sara[/name] Smile by [name]Hall[/name] & Oates
[name]Susanne[/name] - [name]Fire[/name] and [name]Rain[/name] by [name]James[/name] [name]Taylor[/name]
[name]Daniel[/name] - [name]Danny[/name]'s Song by Loggins & Messina, and [name]Daniel[/name] by [name]Elton[/name] [name]John[/name]
[name]Leila[/name] - [name]Layla[/name] by [name]Eric[/name] Clapton

Not these so much, but I still like the names and the songs:
[name]Julia[/name] - [name]Julia[/name] by The Beatles
[name]Cassidy[/name] - [name]Cassidy[/name] by The Grateful Dead

Can’t think of any more right now. Good question!

Great topic!

I [name]LOVE[/name] songs with names, and almost insisted that we had to use a name for which there was a good song (ended up with [name]Laura[/name], for which there are a few BAD songs)
