[name_m]Hershel[/name_m] seems like a tough one to nickname. The most intuitive one I can think of is [name_u]Shel[/name_u]. Some less intuitive

We have a 1yr old cat called [name_m]Hershel[/name_m] and we call him [name_m]Hersh[/name_m] and Hershey for short.

I would go with Harry as a day to day nickname and maybe Hershey as a fun family nickname.

Honestly it’s a great name for a Jewish kid, but if you feel like it’s too much then skip the nickname and just leave it as a hebrew name only.
