i’m really digging 90’s-ish, outdated style names right now. [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] and Lauren/Lauryn/Loren (i prefer the first spelling) are my favorites from this category. does anybody else find names like this charming or am i crazy

I don’t have any specific dates names I like, but there are a couple of older names I love like [name_f]Constance[/name_f], [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Dorathea[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Melanie[/name_f], [name_f]Helene[/name_f], [name_u]Jules[/name_u], [name_u]Clifford[/name_u], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], [name_u]Vernon[/name_u], [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] (I find this one to be dated just because I haven’t seen or heard of any children, toddlers, or babies being given this name, so I guess it’s popularity has dropped over the years) and the classic [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]

[name_f]Melissa[/name_f] has always been a favorite of mine, I just think “Missy” is so cute! I also love [name_f]Marnie[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] “Kate”, [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], and [name_f]Sarah[/name_f].
And I know this is a baby girl names post but I thought I’d include my favorite boys as well. I just love [name_m]Todd[/name_m], [name_m]Christopher[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_m]Peter[/name_m], [name_u]Timothy[/name_u] “Tim”, [name_u]David[/name_u], [name_u]Robert[/name_u], [name_u]Michael[/name_u], [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] and [name_u]John[/name_u] “Jack”.

I like most these names since I grew up with them in the 90s they’re really familiar to me. A lot of popular names now seem frilly by comparison. I would definitely consider [name_f]Lauren[/name_f] a classic and not outdated at all! [name_f]Christine[/name_f], [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] are some of my favs. [name_u]Stacy[/name_u] too just for the song Stacy’s Mom lolol

For names that were popular when I was at school in the late 90s-early 00s…
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] for a girl, and boys are tricky because so many of the names popular then feel more timeless!

[name_f]Lauren[/name_f] is a perfect example! Some of the 80s/90s name can seem a little tired to me (Ashley, [name_f]Jessica[/name_f], etc.) just because so many people I grew up with all had these names. However, there are some so classic, that they kind of fit in anywhere and are very charming: [name_f]Rachel[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_u]Shannon[/name_u], etc!
