What are your favorite names from Today’s Blog?
The blog here? It’s [name]Susannah[/name]. But I prefer [name]Susanna[/name]. Funnily enough, my blog (http://lolamac.wordpress.com/) is [name]Susanna[/name] today, too!
I prefer [name]Susanna[/name] too; my cousin recently used that one, and it feels like a fresh new discovery. I don’t know anyone else with the name! I also have a crush on [name]Suzanne[/name] as I know several fabulous old French ladies who bear the name-- for me it’s ripe for revival, like [name]Evelyn[/name].
I’ve had [name]Suzette[/name] on the brain for a few days now… I’ve never heard of a dog with that name, so I think it’s fair game. I think it’s got a lot of spunk. It’s probably not one I love enough to use on a real daughter, but theoretically I love it. And I love [name]Suzy[/name], so cute. I always loved [name]Susie[/name] Q… and I’d be really tempted to make her middle initial be Q. I also love [name]Susannah[/name] (with or without the H). Oh, and [name]Zuzu[/name]! I didn’t even realize that could be a nickname for these names, love that!
I like [name]Susanna[/name] the best.
New blog: Irish names!
For girls, I really like [name]Aoife[/name], [name]Siobhan[/name] and [name]Tamsin[/name]. (Although I thought [name]Tamsin[/name] was Welsh…)
For boys: [name]Declan[/name], [name]Dermot[/name] (a variation of [name]Diarmaid[/name], which I think looks like Dairy maid) and [name]Tadhg[/name]. I knew a handsome fella named [name]Tadhg[/name] whose accent was so thick it was weeks before I realized his name wasn’t [name]Ty[/name].
Girls: [name]Clara[/name] and [name]Tamsin[/name]
Boys: [name]Cormac[/name] and [name]Declan[/name]
Girls: [name]Clara[/name], [name]Nora[/name], [name]Roisin[/name]
Boys: [name]Alfie[/name], [name]Cormac[/name], [name]Lochlan[/name]
[name]Eithne[/name] & [name]Cillian[/name] for me! Or [name]Orla[/name] & [name]Callum[/name].
Girls: [name]Aislinn[/name], [name]Maeve[/name], [name]Nora[/name]
Boys: [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Eamon[/name]
Irish Names-
[name]Clara[/name] and [name]Declan[/name].
[name]Oscar[/name] names-- I think [name]Gable[/name] is dreamy! (And it warms the heart-- reminds me of my grandfather who always insisted he looked just like [name]Clark[/name] [name]Gable[/name] when he was a young buck, “pencil-thin moustache and all.”)
Am also a fan of [name]Emil[/name] and [name]Omar[/name]. So dashing!
[name]Peter[/name], [name]Kenneth[/name], [name]Clark[/name], and [name]Laszlo[/name]! And I wish [name]Laurence[/name] as in [name]Olivier[/name] and [name]Laurence[/name] of [name]Arabia[/name] would come back in style.
[name]Elliot[/name]'s my favorite off the list but I also like [name]Emil[/name] and [name]Willem[/name]. And [name]George[/name] has been growing on me lately.
Could have sworn I did this already today! Guess not.
[name]Just[/name] like I posted in the bog itself: [name]Willem[/name], [name]Cosmo[/name], [name]Rufus[/name], [name]Laszlo[/name], [name]Clark[/name], [name]George[/name], [name]Rex[/name] and [name]Otto[/name].
Funny too, I blogged about [name]George[/name] today!
[name]Sunday[/name]- I never would have thought about it before [name]Nicole[/name] Kidman used it but I think it’s a really cute name.
I’d have to say [name]Ignatius[/name] & [name]Portia[/name]
[name]Liesel[/name] & [name]Lionel[/name]
[name]Mardi[/name] Gras Names”lots of great ones here.
[name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Eugenie[/name], and [name]Sabine[/name] are my favorites for girls; [name]Augustin[/name], [name]Beau[/name], and [name]Gilbert[/name] for boys (I’ve lately had a crush on [name]Gilbert[/name]”must be from my [name]Anne[/name] of [name]Green[/name] Gables days!).
[name]Emeline[/name] and [name]Leon[/name]
