My apologies I can’t quickly find a thread to resurrect.
[name_f]May[/name_f] I have suggestsions/opinions please for a P name -[name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] [name_f]Phaidra[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f] [name_f]Piera[/name_f] [name_f]Pierina[/name_f] [name_f]Pomona[/name_f] [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] Phaenna -not sure on Perse-phone, which I loved until that was pointed out. or your suggestion please? Its a 3rd name so it can be more G.I. than for a first and I can’t find any honor/family gems.
This is to give [name_f]Cressida[/name_f] the initials C.A.P. and the nickname Capi which may seem odd. (She is here, 1 month and is baby gurgling with equal reaction to all names)
It will make a really cute, if slightly whimsical, link to her little [name_m]French[/name_m] cousin who is to be named [name_f]Capucine[/name_f] [name_u]Ari[/name_u]? ( to break the ine endings) [name_f]Pomeline[/name_f].
I would love for the cousins to have this link. [name_f]Capucine[/name_f] will be ‘[name_f]Pia[/name_f]’- so [name_f]Cressida[/name_f], ‘Capi’ - I am sure that makes sense. Many thanks -value your taste.
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] and [name_f]Persephone[/name_f] are lovely. Also Pelagie ([name_m]French[/name_m] from Greek Pelagos meaning ‘open sea’), [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], [name_f]Perrine[/name_f] (traveler), Phylancie, Philatha (both from my family tree), [name_f]Petra[/name_f], [name_f]Pilar[/name_f].
My favourite P’s of my own are probably [name_f]Penelope[/name_f], [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Peridot[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Petra[/name_f] but no other form of [name_m]Peter[/name_m]. And [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] is quite nice.
[name_f]Cressida[/name_f] (…) [name_f]Peridot[/name_f] is a gold-and-green image to me so that appeals.
Ladies - Berries, I am overwhelmed and impressed.
Sincerely thank you. I tried so hard to just say 'P names please ’ as I should - which is all the info you need, but I am just tickled about the Capi nname -sorry
& thanks again. @stripedsocks - green and gold -hard to ignore.: @rkrd -wht fabulous names in your family. I have to process but Pelagia… is gorgeous and Greek
