I think I most prefer [name_f]Helena[/name_f], but I’m in love with all versions of [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. They’re all so classic and provoke very specific images of different women for me. I’m curious about what your favourite is and why?
I personally love the name [name_f]Nell[/name_f]. Simple and sweet.
[name_f]Helena[/name_f] would be my favorite, but I also like the Greek [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Helene[/name_f], [name_f]Alena[/name_f], [name_f]Ilona[/name_f]–so many choices!

[name_f]Helena[/name_f] is my favorite–it sounds really elegant to me and could work on all ages. I like the nn [name_f]Nell[/name_f] suggested above

I would go with [name_f]Helena[/name_f] because she could also go by [name_f]Helen[/name_f] without even changing her name.
[name_f]Helene[/name_f] is to me ugly pronounced Hell-eeeen. But I love it said in [name_m]French[/name_m], which it would not be in the US.
I have a soft spot for [name_f]Heloise[/name_f] too, household stains and all! 
Definitely [name_f]Helena[/name_f] as well. Followed by [name_f]Elena[/name_f], [name_f]Helen[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleni[/name_f].

I absolutely love all of the [name_f]Helen[/name_f] variations, but the classics [name_f]Helen[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f] (HELL-uh-nuh) and [name_f]Lena[/name_f] ([name_m]LAY[/name_m]-nuh) are probably my favourites. One variant that has also always intrigued me is [name_f]Helaine[/name_f], if that appeals at all.
I’m with you. I also love many variations of [name_f]Helen[/name_f]. My faves may be [name_f]Helene[/name_f], [name_f]Helena[/name_f] and [name_f]Elina[/name_f]!
