I like [name_f]Eilish[/name_f] and [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f], whilst my OH prefers [name_f]Alannah[/name_f]?

I love:
[name_f]Nuala[/name_f] - with the NOO-uh-lah pronunciation, which I understand is a little archaic?
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - I have a slight preference for [name_f]Maeva[/name_f] though, but then she’s not actually Irish. (both are falling off my top lists)
Alastríona - can’t believe this isn’t more widely talked about, stunning name!
[name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] - this is falling from my top lists though, it’s just not as special to me as it was when I first learnt of it.
[name_f]Eimear[/name_f]/[name_f]Emer[/name_f] - the [name_f]Eimear[/name_f] spelling looks more name-y, but [name_f]Emer[/name_f] is a lot simpler so I can never choose.
[name_f]Nessa[/name_f] - would most likely use as a nickname for [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] though.
[name_f]Orla[/name_f] - in my top three of these, along with [name_f]Nuala[/name_f] and Alastríona
Úna - so gentle and sweet, although I would spell it without the accent mark most likely.
Of the ones you mentioned, I prefer [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f], and I must admit [name_f]Alannah[/name_f] doesn’t recognise as very Irish at all to me. I know she is, but she’s just so modern sounding she only feels trendy.
