Voted for [name]Emilia[/name], but I also adore [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Amelie[/name].

I like [name]Amelia[/name], Amélie and [name]Emilia[/name]. Not on your list are other favourite variations: [name]Amalia[/name] and [name]Amalie[/name] (Dutch/[name]German[/name]).

I love [name]Amelia[/name] no matter how popular it gets. I adore [name]Amelie[/name] too.

I too love this name.

[name]Amelie[/name] is my favorite. Followed closely by [name]Emily[/name].

My favorite is [name]Amelie[/name]. It made me think of [name]Amabel[/name] as a suggestion, though prn. may be an issue with this one.

I’ve always thought [name]Amalia[/name] was an intriguing spin off of [name]Amelia[/name], givng it a sweet and sophisticated spanish/italian sound.

[name]Both[/name] [name]Amelie[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name] are part of my top 10 for girls

I would never use both in a sibset but I [name]DO[/name] love them!

My favorites are (in order) [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Amelie[/name], and [name]Emily[/name]. I also love [name]Amalia[/name].

I voted for [name]Emilia[/name].
(It’s my current favorite.)

Voted for [name]Amelie[/name], though [name]Emilia[/name] was a close second.

It’s funny, really, my relationship with these two names. I love them both so much and, yet, if the spellings were changed, I’d hardly give them another thought.

[name]Emilia[/name], for instance, is beautiful to me, exotic, sophisticated, and demure. And you’d think those same feelings would carry over to her almost-identical sister, [name]Amelia[/name], but they don’t. [name]Amelia[/name] is a perfectly nice name, sure. It’s pretty, simple, and warm, but it lacks the mysterious romanticism attached to [name]Emilia[/name]. The same goes for [name]Amelie[/name]. I love [name]Amelie[/name], but change the “a” to an “e” ([name]Emelie[/name]) or the “e” to an “a” ([name]Amalie[/name]/[name]Amalia[/name]) and I merely “like” the moniker. Strange, isn’t it?

Amélie if it’s pronounced in French. If not, I prefer [name]Amelia[/name].

[name]Amelia[/name] followed by [name]Emily[/name] and [name]Emilia[/name].

[name]Emilia[/name]! I adore [name]Emilia[/name]. [name]Amelie[/name] would be my second choice. [name]Emmeline[/name] I also adore–and is actually the only similar name on my list–but I’m not sure if it’s too different to count. I would love to meet an [name]Emilia[/name], an [name]Emmeline[/name], or an [name]Amelie[/name]. My only problem with [name]Amelie[/name] is that people rarely pronounce it the proper French way.

Honestly, the only one I really like is [name]Amelia[/name].

[name]Amelie[/name] is lovely—for someone else—but I’d feel like a faker trying to be French if I used it.

[name]Emily[/name] is also a pretty name, but I just know so darn many!
