The following 3 names seem, at this point, the most likely options for Ameli3’s brother. These are the ones that my partner hasn’t ruled out/seems most open to, and I love them all.
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] are both in the top 100 here although I don’t hear either too much; I actually think I probably hear [name_m]Felix[/name_m] a little more than [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] but [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is higher on the national list.
Pluses of [name_m]Felix[/name_m] and [name_m]Elio[/name_m] are that nicknames aren’t essential/a given but I do happen to love all of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]’s nicknames, so that’s not too much of a concern.
[name_m]Elio[/name_m] is obviously the least common and that’s a big draw for me. I adore [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] but once upon a time wouldn’t have thought I’d actually use it as it’s a little more traditional than the names I had imagined for my child. I think I’m mostly over that now…
So, which is your favourite generally and with Ameli3? I love all three and at this point have no idea which I’d go for… (although I won’t pretend I’m not sad about not being able to use some of my other favourites).
Felix is my favourite with for Ameli3s brother! [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] second, he does have great nicknames.
[name_m]Elio[/name_m] I like but I think he is the most “trendy” being both an [name_f]El[/name_f] and o-ending name
Felix is such a happy name and stylistically matches his sister’s name well. I think he has the right amount of spunkiness and because he’s a short little name I think visually looks great with your daughters name. I would go with [name_m]Felix[/name_m].
Elio is lovely but I think it shares too many sounds with Am3lie. A bit tongue-twister-y when said together. Felix is adorable but Sebastian matches the romance of Am3lie. And you can use nickname Bastian!
I just love [name_m]Felix[/name_m] with [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]! Though I quite like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] with her, too. However, it really sounds like [name_m]Elio[/name_m] is your favorite, and I would say go with the one you love most!
