We’ve decided on the name Audrey…I’d say we are 90% certain that’s the name and I’m happy that it has really grown on my husband. Only reason I don’t say 100% is because I suppose you never know until you see the baby We both really like the name [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as a middle but my husband thinks [name_f]Fae[/name_f] looks better paired with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. What do you think?
If you though it’s good idea to spell [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - [name_f]Faye[/name_f] in the title, then it’s probably the good idea to spell [name_f]Faye[/name_f] - [name_f]Faye[/name_f] in every occasion.
I do prefer the spelling [name_f]Faye[/name_f] myself but I just chose it for the title as I assumed it was the most common spelling DH thinks it looks odd with a Y in the first and middle name though.
While I like [name_f]Faye[/name_f] better in general, [name_m]Audr[/name_m]ey [name_f]Fa[/name_f]ye somewhat bothers me.
I suppose it’s due to the -y being a rare letter in names (at least here) so it’s very present, especially since both names have an ey/ye in them.
So looking at it, I prefer [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f].
That’s probably what my husband was thinking too…also he feels that [name_f]Fae[/name_f] would be more pronounceable in [name_m]German[/name_m]. We plan on moving back to the States by the time she starts school but it still.
I prefer [name_f]Faye[/name_f] but with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] I think the spelling without a “y” looks the best. I choose [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Fae[/name_f].
I agree that the spelling without a “y” looks the best, though my instinct is to change the first letter and make it [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] instead.
I always prefer the [name_f]Fae[/name_f] spelling, and I actually think it look really good with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. [name_f]Fay[/name_f] definitely looks a bit incomplete [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
Normally I would go with [name_f]Faye[/name_f], but with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] I prefer [name_f]Fae[/name_f]. Either way I think it is a beautiful name!
