[name]Ive[/name] taken a recent strong liking to this name. It’s simple, strong, not very used but still well known. It’s also one syllable which would go great with a three syllable middle and our two syllable last name.
We don’t have a baby to name just yet looking for feedback. Honest opinions on this name? It’s also one of the rare names my DH doesn’t hate lol.
I’ve actually had a fascination with the name lately too. Feminine but still spunky, can see it on many ages. So far I’ve only used it on characters in the Sims, but I could totally see it on a person irl
I love it! I’m considering using it as a MN. It’s one of the two girl names my husband has ever suggested, so it will probably get used somehow. It’s a lovely name.
I like it and then I don’t. I like its fairy associations but on the otherhand, it just starts to sound like a plain dated name from the 60s, like [name]Kay[/name].
I really love it spelled [name]Faye[/name], but [name]Fay[/name] seems incomplete to me and [name]Fae[/name] is just too mystical for my tastes. I think that it’s sweet and vintage, but not so much so that it wouldn’t sound right on a spunky modern girl. I love that it’s short and simple. Style-wise it makes me think of [name]June[/name] or [name]Nell[/name].
I feel the same way about the spelling. [name]Fay[/name] feels like a nn and [name]Fae[/name] like it’s trying to be something it’s not. The more I think about the name “in real life” I can def see it fitting in. [name]Faye[/name] just rose to the top of our list :). DH and I have a lot of problems agreeing on names lol.
I like [name]Faye[/name] a lot! I definitely think it deserves more recognition very pretty, in my opinion.
A girl I was friends with in middle school, her middle name is [name]Faye[/name] and I remember thinking how lovely it was when she told me.
Now I am thinking about [name]Bay[/name], [name]Gay[/name] / [name]Gaye[/name] (not usable anymore!), [name]Kaye[/name] / [name]Kay[/name], [name]May[/name] / [name]Mae[/name], [name]Ray[/name] / [name]Raye[/name] / [name]Rae[/name]…is a [name]Day[/name] a name?
I like [name]May[/name] and I like [name]Faye[/name]…but I wouldn’t use any of the others. What do you think of these?
I like [name]May[/name] as a mn or nn but somehow I can’t use it first. I know a LOT of ppl with this mn though which is probably why. [name]Day[/name] is on our mn list. Personally I am not a fan of [name]Ray[/name] but its because of some bad associations. Not the name’s fault lol.
I adore [name]Faye[/name], [name]Mae[/name], and [name]Bay[/name], all for different reasons. [name]Faye[/name] is just so sweet and simple, but has a refinement to it. I think it’s even more unexpected as a first than as a middle. I would love to meet a little [name]Faye[/name].
I have recently been reconsidering [name]Faye[/name], too. It’s funny how it seems like we all start to unearth names around the same time. I really like it, but only spelled [name]Faye[/name].
