Feedback on my list

Hello, all!

I’ve still got my old staples ready for action ([name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Adia[/name_f] [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], for example), but I’ve been playing around with some new combos, and was wondering if any of them had some merit.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] (oh, but how my heart aches for [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f]!)
[name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Zelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f]
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m]
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f]

What’s the verdict, Berries? Can any of them be top contenders?

Good list.

[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is gorgeous!

[name_f]Diana[/name_f] is definitely underrated. It’s a timeless name that brings to mind royalty, but it’s easy to spell and fits well on a girl at every stage of her life. Wonder Woman adds a little power grrl to the mix.

[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] sounds like a line of poetry, and the meaning is excellent. It’s a long name, but easily shortened for family and close friends. I like [name_f]Lina[/name_f] as much as [name_f]Eve[/name_f] for those purposes.

[name_f]Zelie[/name_f] is such a bright saint’s name. Is it pronounced ZAY-lee or [name_f]ZEE[/name_f]-lee?

I like [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] as a variant of [name_f]Cora[/name_f], though technically I think it’s a variant of [name_f]Coral[/name_f].

And [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] as a girl’s middle? Very yes. Thumbs up.

Thank you very much for your thoughts! I pronounce [name_f]Zelie[/name_f] like “[name_m]ZELL[/name_m]-ee” rhyming with [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], but I could very well be mistaken.

I like [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]! I’m usually not a huge fan of [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] but I think it works well in this one. It is too much name for me as a first name but it adds a nice level of drama to [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (but not too much). [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is also nice. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] is a little close to [name_m]Marcus[/name_m] [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m].

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] - Very very pretty. Makes me think of an upper class girl. Classic and timeless.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Diana[/name_f] - [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is stunning. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Diana[/name_f] both make very classy middles.
[name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Zelie[/name_f] - I feel this is rather mis-matched just becuase of the old with the modern but it is pretty. Sorry!
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] - I absoloutely love both names and they make a delightful match.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f] - I don’t [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] but it’s nice and I think [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is a bit too modern for me. I’m not too sure about the double ‘l’.
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] - [name_f]Cora[/name_f] is lovely and sooo under-rated but [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] isn’t my cup of tea. I usually like a sound match but this one… I don’t know.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] - I don’t like [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] on it’s own but this pair is lovely. I adore the name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] but it always reminds me of violent!

My favourites are:
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]/[name_f]Diana[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]

I don’t mean to be so mean about your names as so many of them I love!

I adore both [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], so graceful and pretty, and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], so spunky and sophisticated!

Thanks to all! I know that some of the names aren’t everyone’s cup of tea - I’m not even quite sure about the exact combos myself, yet.

[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] – This is beautiful!
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] – Also beautiful!
[name_f]Diana[/name_f] [name_f]Zelie[/name_f] – [name_f]Diana[/name_f] is not my personal style but I find these names a little mismatched together.
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f] – Gorgeous! Sounds like a ballerina.
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f] [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lula[/name_f] – [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] is not my type and together these names seem maybe too similar. [name_f]Lilac[/name_f] is nice though!
[name_f]Cora[/name_f] [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] – This seems a little out of place on your list but not in a bad way. All the other names are quite frilly and feminine but this has a tougher feel to it. I like it!
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] – [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is a classic but [name_f]Philomena[/name_f] is definitely not my style. I’d definitely change the middle name.

Overall, you have great taste in names. My favourites (in order) are:
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]
