We are considering Wilke [name]Fox[/name] as a name for our little boy due 11/23/13. Big sisters name is [name]Hazel[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. We have some time and have some other ideas, but are really drawn to this one. What do you think?
Is Wilke pronounced like will-key or wilk (rhymes with milk) or something else entirely? I think your son will have quite a few mispronunciations in his future. Not the worst thing but it still can be annoying.
Personally, I’d find something else and use Wilke in the middle.
Yes, pronounced [name]Will[/name]-key.
I forgot to mention that Wilke reminds me of silk, milk, and [name]John[/name] [name]Wilkes[/name] [name]Booth[/name] all rolled up.
Thank you for the feedback. I hear you, but your associations havnt turned me off it yet. Anyone else? Surname is [name]Sheehan[/name]-Stokes. Thanks y’all!
