You would think after many years of being a name nerd, that I would have at least one boys name that I just adore. I really don’t.
[name_f]My[/name_f] two daughters are [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] and [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], my DH and I are TTC now, yet I do not have a single idea what we would do if the baby was a boy.
The boy names that we considered for our first two just don’t feel right. I need some new perspective, some honest thoughts on my list and some new suggestions. I’m struggling.
-Zephyr (DH prefers this one, I have always loved it, but I struggle to see it on an actual person. If you can sell me on this one, you get brownie points!)

While I know if I met a little boy with any of these names, I would just adore it, but for my own kid, I still feel like I haven’t found the ONE.

I saw [name_m]Oren[/name_m] on your list and it brough the name [name_m]Soren[/name_m] to mind- I know it’s a bit different, but I thought I could suggest. I also think [name_u]Maguire[/name_u] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] kind of fit with what you’ve said. Maybe even [name_u]Dorian[/name_u]?
Maybe its a matter of needing to meet your son before it feels real. I really like [name_u]Zephyr[/name_u]. Another way that might seal the deal for you is a great mn match.

Zephyr is everything: cool, unique (but known), sweet and strong at the same time. Plus it’s mythological and nature related which i think is awesome!
such an underused name and yet almost everyone knows it exists, which i think it’s perfect bc your kid is gonna have an unusual name and not gonna have the problem of people not knowing it!
Zephyr totally deserves more use and recognition!
