[name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl will be here in [name_u]January[/name_u] and I just feel like we are never going to find a name we both love. There are names we really like, but nothing stands out as being the one.
Iām so upsetā¦
Big siblings are [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] (girl).
Names we like (as Iām sure you have seen): [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_f]Hannah[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] (but canāt use)
We typically stick to top 100 namesā¦ any other suggestions you think sound good?

I wonder if part of the difficulty is that the girl names that are āalmost but not quiteā are of a somewhat different style than your first daughterās name? Perhaps some options that bridge the styles might appeal to you? From your list, [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] would work well. Other ideas:

I think a good approach for this baby might be to find a name that sits in the middle ground between [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], which is a classic, and [name_u]Avery[/name_u], which, while it has some history, is far more modern and unisex. It did occur to me that both of these names, as well as some your other favorites, have three syllables ([name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f].)
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]: Might be my favorite suggestion for you. Itās traditional, but definitely stylish right now at #55. It also follows a three-syllable pattern, and while clearly feminine, itās not frilly. It could also shorten to a unisex nickname like [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] if desired, but it wouldnāt be automatically shortened.
[name_f]Kate[/name_f]: Bridges the style gap between [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] quite seamlessly, as itās a modern-feeling, tailored form of a classic. Itās a little shorter than some your childrenās names, but fits well with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] from your list.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]: At #131, this is a little less popular than some of your other options. However, itās very familiar and reminds me of a combination of [name_f]Emma[/name_f], [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], and [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] from your list. Itās also a three-syllable choice.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]: Classic, like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f], but also short and impactful.
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]: Itās unisex but leans heavily girl, like [name_u]Avery[/name_u], and has the same spunky vibe as [name_u]Quinn[/name_u].
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]: A somewhat quirky, but fairly popular, traditional name that picks up [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]'s āvā sound.
[name_u]Morgan[/name_u]: Seems like a good stylistic match for [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], with some of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]'s sound.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]: Three syllables and a modern stable. Picks up on the ānā from [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] and shares [name_u]Avery[/name_u]'s ending without being too close to either.
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f]: Deep roots, like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], and modern sensibility, like [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. Reminds me of [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]: Yet another name that bridges the style of your two older childrenās names. It also reminds me of a combination of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u].
