I am a name junkie and I had no problems coming up with my first sons name, [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m] [name_m]Joshua[/name_m]. It seemed like the first time around my hubby and I were on the same wavelength regarding names and we had a name long before we knew the gender.
I’m pregnant again and I’m struggling so badly to come up with boy names that we both like.
I’d love to use a classic sounding name for boy #2 but that’s still unusual/different such as [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] or [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] but he’s not entirely sold on either.
For some reason we’re both being so picky this time around, so I’m feeling a little lost! I think DH is okay with the classically different names, so maybe that’s a good starting point…?
I’m dying for some good ideas, since I seem to come up with nothing but duds. Help us, please!
I love [name_m]Lucius[/name_m], but another L name with such a different feel would strike me as odd. [name_m]Virgil[/name_m] is better imo; because it’s a different letter, the contrast in styles isn’t quite as apparent.
[name_m]Virgil[/name_m] made me think of [name_m]Cyril[/name_m], [name_m]Cyrus[/name_m], and [name_m]Cedric[/name_m]. I also like the suggestions of [name_m]Darius[/name_m] and [name_m]Rainier[/name_m]. Speaking of mountains…how about [name_u]Everest[/name_u]?
