Female Book Characters Help!!!

I’m creating this story centered around an all-female cast who start off as strangers but eventually form unbreakable bonds as they journey across the (world, universe, multiverse, time, etc …idk yet). There are five main characters total but I can’t decide on a name for two characters. Here’s some background on them:

  1. Arctic Mermaid [name_m]Knight[/name_m]: Incredibly loyal and determined, but difficult to control (she will do what she wants when she wants how she wants if she truly believes she’s right—which is always) She also holds herself to a high moral/ethical standard so she is very judgemental of criminals like thieves, assassins, etc. She has shoulder length pale green hair, purple and gold lips, and stark ice blue eyes.

Guidelines: a name suitable for a mermaid yet not too pretty or flowy, something with a bit of an edge since she dwells from the cold arctic ocean

  1. Gadgeteer-Genius Pirate: A Leonardo Da Vinci type…extremely aptitude in engineering with a genius intellect which she uses for more mischievous fun. Visionary at heart and extremely innovative. Carries around a bag full of scrap metal or junk she finds to be used for inventions/gadgets she conceptualizes and draws in her journal. (Kind of like a female tej from fast and furious). She is african american, with long, loose curly hair.

Guidelines: preferably something short and simple (yet still unique)…one syllable is probably ideal but I’m honestly open to anything for her. if anything, maybe a longer name with a cool short and simple nickname (can be related to the full name or maybe its just a pirate’s nickname from her crew). Also not against making her last name the focal point, so characters would actually her by that instead of her first name…

Overall, i would like all five names to sound cohesive. The other three girls are named [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], “[name_u]Rory[/name_u]” for short (Drunkard Runaway), [name_u]Kieran[/name_u]/Kiernan (Cagefighting Mob-Princess), and [name_m]Jun[/name_m] (Demi-Fey Thief).
