Torn between the two. Clover is up-and-coming, with a swift entrance into the US top 1000 these past few years. Fern is an old classic (from US standpoint, although consistently on the charts for UK) and was below top 2000 in 2023. I’m in Australia if that helps.
Which would you choose for your daughter? My son is named R0bin.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] is lovely, but [name_f]Fern[/name_f] is the perfect blend of familiar-but-uncommon, and has a great literary tie just like R0bin’s name!

Both are gorgeous and I have on my extended list of names however I do prefer [name_f]Fern[/name_f].
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Fern[/name_f] is such a sweet vintage nature choice that feels homespun and peaceful. I think she sounds very in keeping with big brother R0bin. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] sibling set.
Oh, this is a tough one!! I voted for [name_f]Fern[/name_f] because as stand alone names, I prefer [name_f]Fern[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- it’s so sweet and gentle sounding. However, I do think “Robin & Clover” sounds amazing together!
