What are everyone’s thoughts on the name [name]Fern[/name]? I love that it’s easy to say, spell, and it’s not popular. What about middle names? [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] keeps popping up in my head, but I’m thinking that may be too [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name]? I’d love to hear more suggestions, thanks!
Have you thought about [name]Fern[/name] for a middle name to maybe [name]Fernanda[/name] or another F name?
I really like [name]Fern[/name]! It’s cute, recognizable, and naturey… What more could you want? I do immediately think of the little girl from [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name], which is probably why I am so fond of this name. That was one of my most favorite stories as a child, and I can only imagine how excited a daughter would be to share a name with the character once she is old enough to read it. Unfortunately, I do think [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is just a little bit too much. What about:
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Caroline[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Harriet[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Isadora[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Juliette[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Katherine[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Margaret[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Ondine[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Penelope[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Rowena[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Theresa[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Verity[/name]
[name]Love[/name]. It’s great!
Not [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], though - too [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name], yes. [name]Fern[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] is cute, I agree. [name]How[/name] long is last name? I’m thinking [name]Fern[/name] is good with [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Eloise[/name], [name]Isabel[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Matilda[/name] in particular.
[name]Fern[/name] is so sweet. [name]Just[/name] great. [name]Hope[/name] you get a chance to use!
I really like [name]Fern[/name]. Not something I would actually use myself, but always I adore. I like [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. If you love it, use it.
[name]Fern[/name] is a great, refreshing name! I think it sounds best with a 3-syllable mn with stress on the 2nd syllable. [name]Fern[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name], [name]Fern[/name] [name]Eliza[/name], and [name]Fern[/name] [name]Matilda[/name] were all great suggestions. In addition, how about [name]Fern[/name] [name]Calista[/name], [name]Fern[/name] [name]Mariah[/name], or [name]Fern[/name] [name]Paulina[/name]?
I like [name]Fern[/name]! It is very simple, soft, and pretty! Rare, but easily recognizable and not difficult to pronounce. The link to [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name] is fun. I agree with previous posters though that [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be a little too much.
I think [name]Fern[/name] is great as a stand alone name. I agree [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a bit much.
Hate it. Sounds ugly. Doesn’t help that plant [name]Fern[/name]'s are also not attractive.
I love the suggestion of [name]Fern[/name] [name]Eliza[/name]!
[name]Fern[/name] is adorable & earthy and I imagine a very bookish hipster girl. It also has a spunky/pig tails feel. [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is WAAY too [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name] imo.
[name]Fern[/name] is really an easy middle, but in the fn spot I think it needs something substantial to ground it…like [name]Charlotte[/name], just without those associations.
I think [name]Fern[/name] is rather bland especially compared to other floral names, I prefer [name]Flora[/name]. If you like [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] I’d say use it. People rarely know each others middle names, how many times does someone walk up and introduce themselves by both first and middle names? Almost never and not everyone would make the connection anyway.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Fern[/name]! I’ve always wondered why it isn’t more popular, especially with the [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name] reference. I think [name]Fern[/name] [name]Cordelia[/name] is a wonderful suggestion!
[name]One[/name] of the kindest and gentlest women I have ever met was named [name]Fern[/name]. It’s a lovely name!
I love [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name]. Hardly anyone will know what her middle name is and even less will get the reference, and I think it’s a pretty combination.
Here are some suggestions. Some are classic. The plant names might be a bit too “blue ivy” esque for your liking…
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Ophelia[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Beatrice[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Cecelia[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Willow[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Jasmine[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Rosalie[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Josephine[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Meredith[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Alexa[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Juniper[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Alicia[/name]
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Anastasia[/name]
I like it, but personally would only use it as a middle name as I don’t think it stands on its own that well phonetically.
I have always loved [name]Fern[/name]. [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] does sound lovely, but very VERY [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name]. It’s a great classic book, though! I could imagine a children’s librarian naming one of her kids [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], along with other literary referenced names. It would be pretty cheesy, I guess, but in the best way possible!
I love [name]Fern[/name]. It’s simple and classy but still taking part in the nature and old-fashioned trend.
I immediately thought of [name]Charlotte[/name]'s [name]Web[/name] with [name]Fern[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], so unless you’re a huge fan of the book I’d steer clear.
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Margaret[/name] has a similar feel
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Penelope[/name] is cute
[name]Fern[/name] [name]Bianca[/name] is pretty and would probably be my choice
