I saw a shirt today that said “Fierce like [name_f]Frida[/name_f]” and once more the name [name_f]Frida[/name_f] was stuck in my head. I just love the look and the historical significance. I was wondering on your opinion of [name_f]Frida[/name_f]? I also would consider the Yiddish version, [name_f]Freida[/name_f] or [name_f]Frayde[/name_f]. Could she be a sister to [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_u]Marion[/name_u], and [name_f]Eda[/name_f]? I presume [name_f]Eda[/name_f] (ee-dah) and [name_f]Frida[/name_f] are too close but are [name_f]Eda[/name_f] and [name_f]Freida[/name_f]/[name_f]Frayde[/name_f] better ?
I like [name_f]Frida[/name_f], it’s strong, classy and playful. I really like the [name_f]Frida[/name_f] Khalo association myself, which tends to give it a great quirkiness, and the ‘peace’ (and ‘joy’ in the case of the Yiddish version) meanings are just lovely.
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] does fit in well with your [name_f]Esther[/name_f] & [name_u]Marion[/name_u], though I do think [name_f]Eda[/name_f] & [name_f]Frida[/name_f] are far too similar in a sibset. I like the Yiddish FRAY-duh variations ([name_f]Freida[/name_f] and [name_f]Freyde[/name_f] are my favourites), and though it reduces the similarities a little with the long EE sound, the repeated -duh sounds in [name_f]Freyda[/name_f] and [name_f]Eda[/name_f] still repeat which would bother me for sisters. I think it’d have to be a choice between the two for first, and perhaps use the other in the middle.
I’m not sure about [name_f]Frida[/name_f]. It’s one of those names I should like based on my lists/taste, but somehow doesn’t do it for me. When I hear [name_f]Frida[/name_f] or any similar name, I think of [name_m]Abba[/name_m], but I suppose that’s one of those weird Scandinavian things 
(I love [name_m]Abba[/name_m] though, not a negative thing).
My favorite spelling is the Icelandic Fríða, but I also like [name_f]Frida[/name_f]. Of the other variations I like [name_f]Freyde[/name_f] best. It reminds me of [name_f]Freya[/name_f] more than [name_f]Frida[/name_f] does, and I love [name_f]Freya[/name_f].
I think any variation of [name_f]Frida[/name_f] is a bit close to [name_f]Eda[/name_f] to use together, but it’s not impossible. I just personally wouldn’t do it.
I quite like it - personally, I prefer [name_f]Freya[/name_f], but [name_f]Frida[/name_f] has a similar strong sound. Of the spelling options, [name_f]Freida[/name_f] is my favourite. I do agree that [name_f]Freida[/name_f] and [name_f]Eda[/name_f] are too close for siblings, I don’t think it matters which spelling you choose as it is the sound that makes it matchy.

I personally only like the [name_f]Frida[/name_f] spelling.
I love [name_f]Frida[/name_f]!! Had my youngest been a girl I think he would have been [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] [name_f]Pauline[/name_f]. (I love both spellings but [name_f]Frieda[/name_f] is more representative of my culture.)
[name_f]Frida[/name_f] is a great sister name to [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_u]Marion[/name_u]! And you can always use [name_f]Eda[/name_f] as a nickname for Friday if you wish.
I think that [name_f]Frida[/name_f] would be too close to [name_f]Eda[/name_f]. [name_f]Esther[/name_f], [name_u]Marion[/name_u] & [name_f]Frida[/name_f] are perfect for sisters though. They’re all old fashioned, feminine, not frilly and a little bit fierce. I like the [name_f]Frida[/name_f] spelling said ‘[name_u]Free[/name_u]-duh’. It’s the most straight forward.

[name_f]Frida[/name_f] could totally be a sister to [name_f]Esther[/name_f] and [name_u]Marion[/name_u]! It makes an awesome trio! Another name fierce [name_f]Frida[/name_f] always reminds me of is great [name_f]Greta[/name_f]!
