Fill in the blank!

I’ve been doubting my [name]Avery[/name] combo ([name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]) for a while now, and I’m hoping you all can help me find something I love. I want to continue the LB initials for his MNs, since that was my grandfather’s name (not short for anything–he just had two initials).

[name]Do[/name] you have any ideas? I don’t want anything too long (like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Lysander[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]!) because my LN already is fairly long.

I have two ideas for the “L” spot that I’ve been tossing around, but I want to hold onto them until I see what others come up with.

Thanks!

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leland[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Levi[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Luca[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]

do you like any of those??

I like Luvnames suggestion of [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name].

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Locke[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lance[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Laurence[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lars[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Louis[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lionel[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lon[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lloyd[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lorne[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lowell[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Luke[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lucas[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] Lothaire [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leif[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]

I guess I should have been more clear about [name]Benjamin[/name]–I don’t need it to be the B name. In fact, I’m not sure I really like it at all anymore. I’ll take a more in-depth look at the suggestions a little later on my laptop when I have time, but I figured I should say I love [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name]. That’s one of the top 2 L contenders right now.

Thanks, ladies! Keep them coming!

I have actually met one person and seen one on TV in the past week whose names were LB lol

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Bingham[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Blake[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Blaise[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Liam[/name] [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Liam[/name] [name]Blake[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Liam[/name] [name]Brody[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Liam[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Brody[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Levi[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Levi[/name] [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Levi[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Levi[/name] [name]Blaise[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lane[/name] [name]Beckett[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lane[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]

[name]Hope[/name] that helps

Thanks, ladies, again. My top two options right now are [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name]. I love them both, but I have no clue what to do for the “B” part–I feel like it should be short (preferably one syllable), but any one syllable “B” name I can think of doesn’t really work: [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blake[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blaise[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blaine[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Boone[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Bryce[/name], etc. I am considering [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Bryn[/name], but since [name]Avery[/name] and [name]Brynn[/name] are both quite popular on girls now, I don’t know if [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Bryn[/name] is masculine enough. Besides, [name]Leopold[/name] and [name]Bryn[/name] seem a bit mismatched…

I am still considering [name]Linus[/name]–not sure how I’m going to go with that. I love [name]Linus[/name], but [name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] has an odd look to me, if that makes sense. And I usually have short-and-sweet one-syllable MNs for the last spot, so [name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] just “looks” wrong to me.

@dillonsfan01 - I love a lot of the “B” names you suggested–[name]Beckett[/name], [name]Boone[/name] (which is a FN on my list, so I don’t really want to reuse it), [name]Brody[/name]… I’m just not sure. It’s hard when I feel like all the “L” names I like clash with all the “B” names I like… and if those fit, then it seems like they are mismatched with [name]Avery[/name]… it just feels like I can’t win with this one!

I really like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blake[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blaise[/name]. But if you do not love them, what about putting the LB with another name? That way you could give [name]Avery[/name] better matched and more masculine MNs and still use the LB somewhere else. Unless you really have your heart set on using [name]Avery[/name] and LB together.

I had actually been thinking about that… I like the idea of using LB for [name]Avery[/name], because my grandfather’s great-great grandfather or something was an [name]Avery[/name]. So it seems even more special to honor my grandfather with my [name]Avery[/name] combo, but I’ve been thinking about changing it up. I don’t know what I would pair the LB with instead, though. Pretty much all my favorites have MNs attached to them.

I love [name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]! [name]Avery[/name] & [name]Linus[/name] are perfect together!
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leland[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Lawrence[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name] Benajmin
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Loren[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]

@lucialucentum - thanks! I do like [name]Lennox[/name] a lot… I’m just not sure of [name]Avery[/name] [name]Lennox[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name]. It’s quite long with my LN. I don’t really like anything shorter with the [name]Avery[/name] L____ formation, though.

Does anyone have any MN suggestions that don’t include the whole LB thing? I might try and see if I could fit it in somewhere else. WDYT of an [name]Air[/name] Force type name? My grandfather was in the [name]Air[/name] Force for quite some time, as was my father, and now my brother. I think it could be a great way to honor all three of them. I was thinking maybe [name]Lachlan[/name], since my dad and brother trained at Lackland AFB–I don’t know about my grandfather, though. I don’t really know about his [name]Air[/name] Force experience–just that he served in Guam and was stationed in New Mexico when my mom was born…

I don’t have any suggestions for you unfortunately, but I was intrigued by your idea of using an [name]Air[/name] Force related name. Is there someone you could ask about your grandfather’s [name]Air[/name] Force experience? If not, you can easily request military service information through the National Archives. I had my grandfather request information on his biological father, and it was completely free. [name]Just[/name] thought I’d throw that out there.

That’s a great idea, thanks! My grandmother actually lives with us, so I could probably ask her if there are any ways I could honor him with an [name]Air[/name] Force-type name. I know he was stationed in Guam when they met, and he was stationed in New Mexico when my mom was born, and that he loved his time in the [name]Air[/name] Force. I thought if there was one [name]Air[/name] Force name general enough, I might be able to honor my dad and brother, too, since my dad was [name]Air[/name] Force (and loved it–I think he’s living vicariously through my brother right now, bahaha), and my brother’s finishing up his tech training right now before he heads off to his first placement (also New Mexico, coincidentally). I know my dad was stationed in Europe for a while ([name]England[/name], and possibly even [name]Italy[/name]), but I don’t know if my grandfather was, and I don’t know if my brother will be…

avery landon bentley?
avery luke brandon?

You could look up famous people from the [name]Air[/name] Force and use their names, kinda like [name]Patton[/name] but in the [name]Air[/name] Force. You might also be able to use something from the military alphabet ([name]Alpha[/name], [name]Bravo[/name], [name]Charlie[/name], [name]Delta[/name], [name]Echo[/name], Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, [name]India[/name], Kilo, Lima, [name]Mike[/name], [name]November[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], Papa, [name]Quebec[/name], [name]Romeo[/name], [name]Sierra[/name], [name]Tango[/name], Uniform, [name]Victor[/name], Whiskey, X-[name]Ray[/name], Yankee, Zulu) Some of them are pretty weird but I can see some of them being usable on boys and girls  You could also do ranks. I am not as familiar with [name]Air[/name] Force ranks (my family is [name]Army[/name]) but something like [name]Gunner[/name] or [name]Major[/name] or even [name]Garrison[/name] or [name]Jett[/name] as an MN might make a cute tribute  [name]Cadence[/name] could also work for a girl to honor the military as well  [name]Hope[/name] some of that helps

@dillonsfan01–I actually thought of the alphabet thing! I just wasn’t sure it was close enough of an association. I do have [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name] on my list, though, so I guess that could honor them? I’m not sure if it’s quite close enough for me, though, for some reason. I think [name]Gunner[/name] and [name]Major[/name] are too strongly he-man/macho-macho/military, though… I want something a bit less “GRRR!” but still, when you think about it, you’d think, “Oh, YEAH! [name]Air[/name] Force!” bahaha. I don’t know.

Someone else suggested [name]Cadence[/name] to me… I don’t know, I’ve never really been crazy about it. I can’t really see it fitting with my other favorites.

I think [name]Charles[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name] would be close enough, but I have heard that alphabet SO many times lol! I think I am literally surrounded by [name]Army[/name] soldiers both active and retired so they have lots of stories and things about it. As for [name]Cadence[/name], I think that it is a little too different to fit in with your other FNs but I could see it as an MN. Maybe something like [name]Violet[/name] [name]Cadence[/name] or [name]Hannah[/name] [name]Cadence[/name] with another MN in there somewhere

lol, my brother was home on leave for [name]Christmas[/name], and a couple days before he left, he taught my mom and baby sister that alphabet. My sister was chanting it ever since. The only thing she talked about the WHOLE [name]WAY[/name] TO THE AIRPORT was “[name]Alpha[/name], [name]Bravo[/name], [name]Charlie[/name], [name]Delta[/name], Foxtrot, [name]Echo[/name], Golf, Hotel, [name]India[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], Kilo, [name]Mike[/name], [name]November[/name], [name]Oscar[/name], Papa, [name]Quebec[/name], [name]Romeo[/name], [name]Sierra[/name], [name]Tango[/name], Uniform, [name]Victor[/name], Whiskey, X-[name]Ray[/name], Yankee, Zulu,” over, and over, and over, and over again. haha.

I have a few more ideas:

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Blue[/name] (someone told me there’s an overwhelming blue theme in the [name]Air[/name] Force? They were dress blues, there’s a Tops in [name]Blue[/name], an old motto used to be Fly into the [name]Blue[/name] or something… I think it could be nice…)
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Felix[/name] (for the initials for [name]Air[/name] Force? I think [name]Avery[/name] [name]Felix[/name] [name]Blue[/name] has too much of an [name]Air[/name] Force feel, though, so maybe a different second MN…)

Still looking for other ideas, but I figured I’d see what people thought on these.

I like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Blue[/name]! I think it definitely needs a masculine name to go with it. [name]Felix[/name] is NMS, I picture cats for some reason lol. What about [name]Avery[/name] [name]Gideon[/name] [name]Blue[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Donovan[/name] [name]Blue[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Blue[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Jameson[/name] [name]Blue[/name]?

Awwww… I can’t believe you just did that. You reminded me of all the old [name]Avery[/name] combos I used to adore! [name]Avery[/name] [name]Dominic[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Donovan[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Samuel[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]George[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leo[/name], [name]Avery[/name] [name]William[/name]… I loved them all. I don’t know if I really love any of them with [name]Blue[/name], though. But seeing all of these reminds me how much I really loved [name]Avery[/name] in the past–apparently, [name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Benjamin[/name] was really bringing me down, haha.

I really like the idea of using [name]Blue[/name] to honor all your [name]Air[/name] Force family. You could stick with [name]Linus[/name] or [name]Leopold[/name] as well. [name]Avery[/name] [name]Linus[/name] [name]Blue[/name] or [name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blue[/name] sound fabulous! I especially like [name]Leopold[/name]. It’s on our short list for fn. That combo sounds very masculine to me.

[name]Avery[/name] [name]Leopold[/name] [name]Blue[/name]. Winner!
